cool, one paper says were on hot pursuit of de gea the other says another man tongue.gif .

just a thought tho what if vds extends, anyone thought about that??i doubt any of these claimed good keepers want to leave their current starting role and warm the bench.the only way i see us buying a new gk is, if tom decides to leave and vds calls it a day.

It's great to hear that we have made a move to replace one of the old guards...

Hopefully he can emulate or surpass what had been achieved by legendary PS and the retiring VDS...
*
its all tabloid talk tho...nothing from our camp actually.

Technically not true. The goal should had stood regardless what Nani did since: 1) There is no offside as the slided down/down injured Pique clearly played Nani onside and 2) if you look the video on the 2nd replay, the ball looks over the line before Nani even attempted to header in.

So the linesman is at fault here.
We spy-ed on him when watching Valencia, no?  laugh.gif
*
lol..the spying oso was story from the press laugh.gif

anyway seeing the way we have done business for the past few seasons, the gaffer tends to keep his targets as under cover as possible.

ehh whats the fuss with ronaldo's goal....i dont think its offside...besides it looked like to have crossed the line way before nani reached it.

another crappy decision by refs' and co.

Either way Van Der Sar is sure to retire end of season.
*
he himself havent said anything yet, so far all the word goes by is "i have to see how i feel end of season".

Amos = Stay. Unfair liao he didn't sit for EPL test

PIG = Out. 3 years of chances, still spoil
*
wow...you must have just woken out of a winter slumber doh.gif

tom has proved his worth on more then enough times.during our defender+vds less time he was there to keep every thing as tight as possible.and also its not that easy to displace someone like vds.he had his fair share of ups and downs and if vds retires i dont see us in the need for a gk.

after the great dane we experimented with a lot of them, and some of those candidates were world class ones.so whats the guarantee the ones heralded as as todays world class wont flop??compared to them, tom has a better chance of improving with us.he already knows the way we play, the league, the club and etc.

anyway as for the rumors soo far, i doubt were even in contact with lindergard.why??official site has nothing to report about it.if it happens we would know of it in due time, but for now vds, tom and amos are the ones we rely on.

back to the wigan game, a welcomed boost for our attacking options with rooney being tipped for the bench.we are in a situation as if weve played a midweek game.nani, rio, smalling all being assessed late and still a doubt whether they will play or not, couple that with ones we already have on the injury roaster.its going to a tough match.

p.s:

ive told you guys not to over do it tongue.gif

QUOTE(Wan @ Nov 20 2010, 04:32 AM)
We are tight lipped because we haven't agreed a deal yet. We do things quietly now. After the Ramsey affair(agreed a deal, but he chose Arsenal), I doubt we would ever do something like that again. We would only announce once things are almost certain(we know the player wants to move, and we already agree the fee with his club).

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11667_6515350,00.html
He(Lindergaard) told Ekstra Bladet: "It looks like the clubs are negotiating but it will surely not happen before Monday."

Their chairman and Sporting Director went to Manchester to negotiate..
http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnew...ontent=Netvibes

So it's true. Just a matter of when, unless Aselund ask for too much.
*
still a lot of untied ends here.were usually in discussion with numerous clubs and i think there are plenty of cases where we have inquired but nothing materialised.this also can be the process of negotiating even tho the other party has clear intent in rejecting/accepting the bid.

this caught my eye tho:

QUOTE
United have scouted Lindegaard on several occasions to ensure he is up to standard, although reports have indicated he may have been brought in as a back-up rather than as a replacement for Edwin van der Sar.

so he is number 2, and tom promoted perhaps??but buying 2 gks(even tho we would sell 1)doesnt seem right.tampers too much in the team balance fergie has in mind.

then again, im still wondering, where the money comes from(if its true) and also do we really need another reserves player and on top of that gk...when there are some pressing concerns on other positions.

loan is a good idea..but we don't have many midfielder arent we
*
for now we dont.but we still have tom to look forward to.if gibbo goes out on loan, that might be an indication he is farther away to be staying with us.

he isnt in the age bracket where usually we send players out on loan and expect them to return.its either he stays and proves his worth or being sold.for now i see no movement, but when a challenger comes in the form of owen or tom cleverly then we can see where gibson's future lies.

that's why we have carrick

long shot:gibson

short pass:carrick
btw our neighbor wanna write off about 100 million quid worth of player.among those who i can think are

shay given
micah richards
wayne bridge
gareth barry
adebayor
adam johnson
....

i know we're not AC milan(rejects' haven),but i think we should give some serious attention about some of the player.especially gareth barry and perhaps shay given
*
absolutely.there is more then enough quality there.the age group is also ok.nothing like what milan is, they are not rejects haven mate(its a retirement home)but they lead the pile tho in serie a'

johnson, given and micah richards sounds tempting.but will they sell them to us??i can see the pools going in for some.
