this happened to my 4 mths+ doter, my mom used to carry her till she slept during 1st 2 mths. Then my mom left my house, i only tahan that 2 wks then i surrendered, i lost 2kg in 2 wks just bcoz i was carrying her n couldn't do anything.

Regardless of her age, this was not correct way, at least, as parent, we shd teach the bb properly.

SO, i used "cry-it-out" method i found in net. It took a wk n me+hb corporation n we made it! At least, our doter, in fact, sleeps better n more happy now bcoz we taught her how to sleep by herself n she now learning rolling.

Imagine, if the bb being carried all times, they will rather choose to be cuddled comfortably instead of learning essential skills. I did not say they would not learn it, in fact, they will learn it, but may delay the development.

bbs are very smart, they know who can be bullied n who cant be. It might not be applicable for everyone as every bb is unique, but at least that what i discovered from my doter.
