oic..
thank.

How u install that? i know from CWM, do u need to change it to update.zip?

or install zip from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard...
Do u remove lagfix before install, then once installed u put back the ULF ext 4?
*
u need Odin for tat.. it's not for CWM

wa.. to be honest.. based on what I say.. my usage time only less than 4hr in 3days..and that also seem like something Impossible..i wonder if your phone is faulty..

music doesn't eat up much battery..because the screen is off and everything else is off when I listen to music

and also I felt that sgs standby time is very great...better than iphone 4 at least
*
lol, no wonder.. I thought hw come can last up to 3 days.. LOL..
For me, WIFI and sync on all the time (except for my 7hrs sleep), a bit of web browsing, games for about 15 mins+??, Facebook awhile, SMS ALL THE TIME unless I'm asleep!! last for 22-24hrs. And of coz, with brightness set to lowest smile.gif

i also used Spice MI-300 where could spend almost 13 Hours for surfing, online my Y.M,plays music, playing games etc.

Well,we knows that MI-300 quite low-end smart phone compared to SGS also used 2.1_Update1.

Does SAMOLED used more power? How about wave also used SAMOLED but smaller than SGS,they(my friends) can spend around 14-16 hours.

How about Froyo?Does it give a hope for us?
*
To be honest, Froyo will be the same, if so, it's oso insignificant. And no, SAMOLED uses LESS power, especially wif black colour thumbup.gif

Another easy way to get the Iphone 4 looking interface on our SGS...

Use ADW Launcher as your launcher. Go to paid Market and look for ADW themes. Over there you can buy iPhone 4, iPad themes etc....
*
I'm not usin ADW or any theme. lol..

U can actually do both way, odin or CWM, as the creator had kindly prepare for both platform. I just done mine with the CWM.

Just wonder what the different between Harcore speedmod vI1.2-250 and Ya-OK. Anyway to test them out?

The differences with Speedmod are:
YA-OK has:
Refined voltage level for cpu frequency 100/200 MHz. Effectively, reduce 50mV for 100/200, and 25mV for 400/800

But no:
- SpeedMod: Replaced kernel jhash2 with jhash3
- Adjusted kernel HZ value to (hopefully) balance battery life & smoothness
- Uses BFQ IO scheduler by default, from http://algo.ing.unimo.it/people/paol...ed/sources.php
- Updated ext4 code in kernel from http://www2.kernel.org/pub/linux/ker.../ext4-patches/
- Optimized compiler flags: -mcpu=cortex-a8 -mfpu=neon -mfloat-abi=hard -fno-gcse -fprefetch-loop-arrays --param l2-cache-size=512 --param l1-cache-size=64 --param simultaneous-prefetches=6 --param prefetch-latency=400 --param l1-cache-line-size=64

this is wad I saw in XDA.

Not worth upgrading .... only stupid people with too much money on hand would upgrade from galaxy S to that phone..
Its basicly Galaxy S .. but wiht .2GHZ more in proc... better camera.. and different form factor....
You would get an overall same experiance as you get with the Galaxy S ....

LOLZ.... you are still using the same thing... but paid RM2k+ more to have that minor hardware... which you cant even notice it..
Brand Loyalty is also the same saying as FAN BOYS in the cyberworld..
*
sell 3GS to get iPhone 4, nid to pay RM2k+ more?? I dunno.. brand loyalty and fanboy are two different things. fanboys are immature n will argue+troll blindly without proper reasoning. upgrading or not is up to them to decide and not u to say tat they're stupid. some ppl here are willing to upgrade to Nexus S and r they stupid too?? It's preference
