Urghh, recompiling APK files is such a pain in the ass. Anyone who knows how to edit XML files can help me?

Wow, impressed at JPD's battery life. Battery at 100% didn't drop for 3 and a half hours idle. Had wifi on the whole night.

Firmware. Been using for a few days now.
Planning to change back cause I find the wifi is a little weaker than JPA.

Go for the usual 16 ohms. You won't remotely hear a difference. But there is a difference. Lower impedance better sound quality but more noise throughout. I think mengsuan knows a lot about this, right?

Hey guys, one question. When I am on Youtube, after loading the clip half way if I slide the bar forward or backwards, it stops the clip and reload it all over again. Is it only me?

Also wanna share this:
http://www.glbenchmark.com/phonedetails.js...00%20Galaxy%20S

Submitted my score there. SGS is 2nd best, better than iPhone. smile.gif

Well, in the installation guide, at the last steps, it said, dun use GPS, as it wil kill ur phone. Aiyo... CM 6.1 Beta not able to use GPS, that is sad...

I downloaded it, but i think i won't flash it 1st, as can't use the GPS... haiz...

I am gonna flash CM now! So excited! drool.gif

Nandroid is in CWM, it backups everything including system files. Better than titanium.

Yup bugs will be fixed, hopefully. But if you're looking for stable firmware, don't flash it. It's for testing. I'll test it and see how many bugs I can find. There's already a list of bugs and there's 40 of them. Also, you can't restore your apps. It's better to start clean in CM. So, it's not recommended for daily use.

Hi guys, tested CM for couple of hours d. Wow, CM is great! But, not something you would stick around with. It's still buggy in beta stage. Very fast, but buggy. You see yourself counting your fingers with new bugs. 720p video playback is not working, camera is in B&W but in gallery it is coloured, no video camera, gallery crashed and loads very long, music widget is unpredictable, lock screen music control is unpredictable and again, everything else is unpredictable.

The high CPU score in quadrant was due to lack of H264 video decoding I guess. Linpack scored at 13.+ only. Expected 30+ but no.

I guess have to give CM some time to mature.

yea.... thats the only downside of Galaxy S .... stupid samsung that dont fix and update our phones..

i dont wanna say anymore... scare later FAN boys become all defensive against me ... like some fag with a mind Fark avatar that would go all berserk when i mention the flaws of the phone or show frustration about the product because flaws and frustration are always positive to fanboys ..

You know fanboys when they defend even for negative reason.... and they are somehow are not bothered with the cons no matter what...  brows.gif
We've been given too much FALSE anticipation.. and somehow samsung malaysia like aint givin a fark anymore.... later you can hear new twitter saying Malaysia getting Froyo @ 2011  thumbup.gif

Go ahead, go ahead. The only time you post in this thread is to backfire a member of the forum. Who ever deny that Samsung is not doing a good job at updating anything?
