i just upgrade to froyo yesterday, but i found the battery is drained fast like hell, i sleep and stand by the phone , for around 7 hour it drain 70 % @@.
oh ya, ytd i make a changes also, in order to always get HSDPA ang 3G , i change the mobile network from gsm/wcdma to wcdma only, is this will drain the battery?
IMHO, it is better not to change to WCDMA only. Good if 3g modem. For the phone, if it cannot get any 3G signal, you phone will be out of the cellular network as it cannot switch to 2G network.
Here is my short video demo on how DXJPA behave. My phone running stock firmware with no lagfix. Hopefully it will help other member to see the difference across the firmwares.
1. Upgraded to DXJPA using Kies and reboot. 2. Second reboot and used 3 button mode to wipe everything including data and cache. 3. Third reboot to change CSC from SingTel to Maxis.

do you notice a bit of lagness with TW launcher?? or just plain smooth? also howd ya get LauncherPro Plus? i mean its a paid apps. if its available in the market im happily paying it but i dont have market enabler..
Sometimes it lags especially after reboot because of SD scanning process, but not up to a level where you have to lift your finger and start pulling ur hair
I wonder what is the performance after you install more apps. Anyway, since you come from stock eclaire, this stock froyo should serve you better.
Many of those complain of stock froyo lagginess usually comes from Voodoo-ed eclaire. No choice, Voodoo is good.

Download market enabler from the market. I get from market too.
Yes. The demo is solely for person who like to run stock like me I would say it is more usable than stock Eclaire and comparable with other stock phone. To really kill others, definitely vodoo.
Final FroYo? Don't think so, but first official FroYo, maybe.
As for lagginess? Sack the analyst that said to use RFS on Samsung.
Added on November 22, 2010, 10:07 pm Lag, yes. Problems? None so far. Will keep on updating the thread.
Another thing I noticed. No more double tap on text to size them into the width of screen on the browser. Or maybe those sites that I visited don't support sizing? Anyone can confirm this?
