Hi all .. actually Im rather new to android and sgs (17 days) .. just 1 small question .. the empty folder that you can create at the desktop .. how to use it? i mean i tried to put a shortcut into that empty folder but failed. what is the purpose of that empty folder?

hmm then better uninstall it n use the one comes wit the android.

i factory reset 1st then flash v8.if u install v8 n factory reset,those apps will b gone of coz.

Had this prob when installing doc 7.6.2 before. Removed all pre-set apn came with doc's and recreate 1 base on 1st page. Hope it still apply for v8

just flashed to Doc Froyo V8 this morning ... now Official Froyo came ... ==

Anyone else disappointed with flash performance? The only reason i wanted froyo was to be able to watch youtube videos directly from the browser but wow, what a dissapointment.

started to cause problems since yesterday after i play with on/off 3g

all kaki flashing are having fun right now ...probably wont wanna flash it to the official froyo anyway lol

That means as long as i get 2e working, i can get doc v9 by just installing the doc update.zip over my stock froyo?

i used mybackup Pro... very great app.

I suggest u before flashing to v8, do factory reset, wipe cache, dalwik wipe, also disable lagfix
so that when u flash, it is a fresh copy of fw... most issue will resolve with this method.

For APN control, try using APN on/off by curvfish... been using since day 1 of my phone. no problem at all.  I also use 2g/3g by curvfish as well

that is one extra step compare to my current setting, i m a very lazy fella :-p

my current setting, i got a widget shortcut for APN on/off at my homescreen, so i just one click, it will do the job :-p

actually it was pretty fast before i apply the lagfix, but i m kiasu lor... :-p did a Quadrant, got a 891... the bar graph is somewhere in the middle not at top, tak syiok, so gatah go and do the lagfix, jz want to get at the top bar haa... once done, it back on top hee...

For DOC's it only take less than 5 mins
