Entahlah grey. I have my 2 cents on this, but i'll share in a bit.

For me, Azan should be as it is. I'm sorry for siding on this but for me the call for prayer is sadly Non negotiable. It should be loud, but at a permitted loud. But ceramah during the night, I think this is getting carried away. The ceramah is actually a problem at night. I remember these events normally being private and kept to the mosque. But I don't understand why these days they choose to air it.
The Khutbah (friday Sermon) is also non negotiable for me. But that's because it has been ok for so many years.
Frankly, real muslims are open to discussion though. So yeah, the ones that are blasting are the... you know.
