Yeah, there's only one version of Ozma Armored. I think it's most likely due to the weight and bulkiness of the armored part which makes it very unwieldy during transformation. I broke mine while transforming it to gerwalk. In macrossworld, there are ppl who reported their wings started to hv stress fractures even while being displayed in fighter mode. IMO, it's jz poor design.. things don't fit into place where they should and the armor relies on fiddling everything together.

it's a shame but it's true that there's quite too much flaws in the design of the dx.
and that pic makes me wanna unearth my ps to play vf-x2 again.

i thought the first version non armored ones suffered from hinge fragility

those 2nd or 3rd batch with armored ones has improved hinge design.

tornado Alto has the more accurate color scheme

and all subsequent releases starting from VF-25S Armored have the improved locking for the crotch.

btw, no crack for my ALto so far fuh the only problem is it starts to turn yellowish haha my toy is getting old

I guess u hv to be tender with the toys...

mine wite plastic parts also turns yellowish.... some more i put it in dust free display rack...

But the model kit 1/72... Not perfect but anime accurate... apart of loose joint 2-3 times transform but details

personally... i prefer the battle droid look of DX... and also... i'm very bad in assembling model kit.... as well as air brushing...

i think model kit will turn yellow as well... as long as it's white plastics.... my gundam do so as well...

if that the case the bandai plastic quality is bad compared to yamato is it?

i think not about the plastic quality... maybe cause of the oxidation.... my 1/48 VF-1s in the same cupboard also turns yellow...
