Just watched Macross Frontier Itsuwari No Utahime.

Its mostly new animation but by GOD the pacing is horrible. Even DYRL? wasn't this slow. It is basically goin through the same basic plot as the TV series but with little things changed here and there to speed up the story. Despite that it still feels slow and I felt they didn't manage to put sheryl and ranka on the same screen as much as they should for the "Triangler" effect. Sheryl goes flirting around Alto most of the time while Ranka does her odd jobs as an up and coming idol with barely enough time for Alto.

Don't know about you guys but I feel japanese movies in general (anime or live action) have pacing issues.

i think its doing a good job with the subplots and not everything is revealed yet (until 2nd movie) so its ok. But geez the plot is moving so slow. The mecha action is only at the beginning AND the end. They should include some small vajra skirmish in the middle. All the drama and talk in the middle is very dreary. It could somehow be done better.

So after leaving my armored ozma DX in battroid mode since the beginning, I transformed it into armored fighter mode and i must say this is the best mode.

Battroid is too much of a bulky floppy mess as the torso area doesn't lock very well especially with all the armour parts on. Gerwalk....i didn't even bother since it looked not too appealing.

Guess i'll eventually build the model kit for a nice battroid version of ozma armoured.

Yellowing depends on luck one. Has lot of factors like the humidity, UV rays, etc. There's a way to cure it which is to get some kinda bleach and dip the parts into it.
