FOr macross, DX chogokin are the better made ones? but hard to get is it.

Dx=Better ones? Not really...
Nuer designs? Yes, since they Sapu all the macross frontier designs + Mac 30. Honestly I still prefer the physical feel of Yamato/Arcadia ones. Both bandai/yamarcadia Plus n minuses of their own.

Hard to get? HardER to get is more like it, thanks to its price n overall market appeal.

Worth it? Every cent . Once u go mac(Ross) u nvr go back. Don't take it too seriously though? Just my opinion

before you start comparing whether DX Chogokins are better or not, your need to know some facts

DX Chogokin lineup only have Variable Fighters from Macross Frontier series
and to own transformable VFs from Macross Frontier you only have the option of DX Chogokin or Bandai plamo kits
but plamo kits lineup does not have YF-29 nor VF-171EX

if you are looking for VFs from other Macross series, then you have to look at other Bandai's lineup or other brands

Ya doing some search and notice it, they don't have the old series.

to add a few more points, i started off with cheaper version of the 1/72 kits and the toynami VF-1 but as the years roll by, i finally manage to start collecting DX, and boy i tell ya... once you go DX you won't go back to the rest... bandai basically sapu kaw kaw all frontier's model... even hasegawa only recently obtain the license to make the messiah plane kit but if you're looking for transformable one, hunt for arcadia and DX... worth every single penny you spent on it...

note to bandai: your fan is getting older and more financially capable to buy your DX!!! make more!!! i still haz sadding for failing to get prophecy and ozma 29!!! i hate you bandai!!!

Comparison between my Yamato YF-19 and Bandai DX Chogokin YF-29.. both is good valks which i love it very much.

20 years difference in the macross timeline. Forward-swept wings have a certain unique beauty.

anyone there has seen a cheap 1/60 Super Parts for VF-1? I know the price for these has gone premium, but I just want something cheap to go along the Yamato Assembly kit I recently ordered at HK.

You r here lowyat forum another place to get it. Usually it sold out before launch in jpn website. An expensive toys.
