before you start comparing whether DX Chogokins are better or not, your need to know some facts

DX Chogokin lineup only have Variable Fighters from Macross Frontier series
and to own transformable VFs from Macross Frontier you only have the option of DX Chogokin or Bandai plamo kits
but plamo kits lineup does not have YF-29 nor VF-171EX

if you are looking for VFs from other Macross series, then you have to look at other Bandai's lineup or other brands
