No, you can't do that.
If you do not subscribe to any packages at all, your account is inactive and thus your smart card is not usable, meaning you can't watch even free channels Maybe you can try to buy a antenna booster? |

for terrestrial TV, get the biggest UHF+VHF antenna you could find, add booster for even better reception, but will cost you a few hundred bucks
or alternatively goes for astro family package which will cost you about RM40/month for 32 channels including all local TV stations' channels This post has been edited by neb: Nov 8 2010, 03:28 PM |

Last time there was a condition that astro cannot bar us from watching RTM 1& 2 though we had terminated astro which should be the way,but now since they rule the nation no such thing already once u cut u get nothing.

As I know, only Truevision at Thailand allowed you to watch all of Thai Free TV free .... The package was called as Truelife Freeview...
Just one time payment to buy their DSTV equipment and you will be given Free to air smartcard by them.... free for life if i'm not mistaken... Astro should do that also..., but in Bolehland, you know la..... |
