Thats rubbish, log into cfm.org lodge your complaint and request for waiver of HD fee for lost hours.System upgrade has nothing to do with HDMI port.

Maybe they use Maxis HSBB instead?

I mean for Astro IPTV capable of using Maxis HSBB... Just like UniFi reserves 8Mbps for their IPTV HD channel stream...

One tell tale sign as to whether it will happen is how much details given out in the report. If it's just a general phrase like "HD in 2015" then it's more likely to be empty talk with lots of room to get out of it. But if it's very detailed like who were the consultant, what specific HD standard to be used, how to go about it etc, then there is hope. Otherwise just treat it as hot air similar to kids saying....I can fly like superman.

Just hope something goes wrong and  the whole satelite goes crazy and we can get other frequencies !! BTW despite upgrade or downgrade  my bill is prompt.Except for that I did not notice any other changes!

I agree with you. something is very wrong with Astro  SD n HD I dunno wat is it, something is still not right to me .I wld still say my TV is doing most of the job to make the PQ better Not the stupid beyond box !

Nope. All HD channel is charged RM10 whenever package you are taking.

My bad (holiday mood). If not my mistake, it was RM12.95.

Called Astro yesterday evening to subscribe to B.yond, waiting for installation now.

Mustika package? seriously this package sucks..i was wise enough not to fall into the trap of astro when it was first launched..at that time, astro claimed these channels will carry the very latest movies and TV series..true enough, they did..but then, how can u claim to carry new movies every week or every month when movies themselves are limited? so they started showing movies that was 4-5 years old and had been played lots and lots of times on astro other channels..and the new movies that they do air, will be repeated like hundreds of time just to show they are showing new movies..

and something that has been bugging Mustika subscribers now..programmes that were at first exclusively for Mustika channels is now being aired on astro prima, ria and other channels..even though these programmes are shown like 3 to 4 months later on astro other channels, it shows that is no longer exclusive to Mustika package so people like me can wait for the programmes to be aired on normal astro channels rather than paying extra to see it first and then be fed with the same content on other channels..

seriously, im surprised that this package is still in existence as I thought it would be scrapped already..the channels in this package is nothing special to warrant it being in its own package and now having HD channels for them..astro seem desperate to boost subscribers for the package..

I'll wait 'till the package merge with Family package...

Yea exactly! Cannot imaging how to watch a football match with a pair of 3d glasses.
I've tried before watching in 3d (during World Cup match), nothing to be amazed off (not for me though). Getting eye-ache putting on those glasses, so I end up watching on the HD channel rather than 3D. Hehe.
