HTC WildFire EZ Operational Guide for Beginners:.
1. How to set MP3 as ringtone?
Go to music -> select the song u want -> Menu -> Set as ringtone
Or you can use an application call RingDroid which will allow you to cut the MP3 to use as ringtones/notifications/alarms, etc.

Its in the first page under .:HTC Wildfire Operational Guide for New User:. sweat.gif sweat.gif

Cuz most likely I will get the phone only nxt year during my summer break. Will it be a good investment? I mean by nxt year with maybe the release of 2.3, would it still be recommended?

Then just wait and see other new phones coming out next year drool.gif drool.gif

First, the papago doesn't need constant internet connection..but getting it to work 100% is sometimes very hard. Have to lock GPS and such (im still not a pro too)

Second, you will need Astro File Manager...you can search it in the market and install it. Then, you transfer the .apk into your wf via usb wire. Make a folder or something then paste the .apk file. Use your WF and open AFM then search for that folder and open the .apk file. I think...!

As I read before, AMOLED will only save more battery IF the screen is showing multiple colours. If both LCD and AMOLED is showing a white/black screen (forgot which) then LCD would be the one conserving more battery.

I think you need to "sleep" your phone and then on again. As written in the few pages back..

When you got the screen just press the button on top (where you lock your phone) then on again. It worked on mine. smile.gif

It's very laggy playing angry birds on Wildfire.
You can try switching your phone to airplane mode so that the game can run faster.
*
Yeah. Its still bearable with the lag..

Dammit! Then will HTC let our WF upgrade to gingerbread? I'm afraid not, or at least another two quarters only can get.
