If the phone is perfect, then there's no need for the manufacturer to keep on producing new phones and thus reducing their profit. They're not stupid tongue.gif Perhaps the antenna problem was a preplanned faulty afterall..XD
*
haha, but the cost for bearing the antenna's faulty is kinda severe in respective to their brand image...kekeke

Hey guys, if I wanna use the phone for skype, fb, twitter, MSN, the internet and listening to music, how would it be with the wildfire? Ok? Good? Or would you recommend me to go for the desire?
*
WF doesnt support skype atm...for fb, twitter, msn, browser, music...it should do the job well...
well, it depends on ur need actually...if u have tight budget and wanted only social needs..wildfire is ur ideal choice..

walao eh, i away for a week..suddenly this thread sooo active...
@xwanderer...ur angry not working in cm6.1?? u have to turn off the screen, and turn it on back, that should solve the problem..i finished the full version and the recent christmas+hallowen up today...no problem ah..
and based on my experience on live wallpapers...it indeed eats quite amounts of battery consumption..i tried a lot of livewallpapers before...clocked to 768 mhz, others seem to run smooth, but city at night appeared to be a bit lag..especially when u rotate ur phone

just now when i out for a tea with friend,
he update his Aria to Froyo,
when i saw the option of "move to SD card" on Application,
i hope i can update my phone immediately. sad.gif

may i know how much storage we can install our apps on Wildfire?
is it we install it on ROM? or other than it?
*
erm, i could brief u little abt it..well, almost all apps can be transfer to sd card in froyo, BUT not to those widget apps (beautiful widget, poweramp, typo clock, etc) because u will lost the function of the apps....
apparently, a clean rom will have around 175mb of internal storage, but with htc sense and stock widgets, it should be around 120<--wild guess

here is the example...Angry Birds
the size of the app is 16mb, so once u transfer to sd card, it would be around 2mb on phone, and the rest will stored in ur sd card..
not entirely the whole 16mb in ur sd card xD

need to create partition in the sd card as well, tht's how i did it in custom ROM, not sure about stock froyo rom...but i think the mechanism is more likely the same..

Thanks, that worked.

Anyway, for those wanting to know whether Angry Birds is smooth on 768MHz, yes, it is damn smooth. Actually even on 528MHz it is already smoother than when it was on 2.1.  nod.gif

proved that u never read the previous posts! haha, this method was mentioned the moment 1.42 version released for qvga resolution..HAHA
cant really say damn smooth la...have to take into consideration some of the levels that have more particles..but if u tried the first 10 or 20 levels..the smoothness is really significant..haha
