me? i went i think on tuesday. bout 2 days ago. did some practicing for the gig tonight. some halloween party nite.
yes it is same row with salmon steak. its abit of a distance from the TBS building though. they're closed daytime i think. 5pm onwards only open.

i went to akarkarya yesterday. we were slotted for 8-9. then after we were leaving, saw shiela majid's musicians. lol they were waiting for her slot at 10pm. the percussionist was damn good.
anyway back to topic - that studio got recording facilities i think. u should check it out.

Yep sonicstation or akarkarya is an option. as well as standing wave in ss15.

Anybody know where can I find recordings made in those 3 studios? other than going there and listening to samples.

If you need to record guitars, keyboards, vocals, etc and looking into recording your own multi-track songs, I've got a 1-on-1 full service digital studio here. Niche, lean & mean is the way to go when you want to perfect your arrangements with the power of a fully digital studio with experienced professionals.

Good for those interested to:

- record their instruments, 1 on 1 recording + engineering
- lay down their guitar tracks & have the ease of flexible arrangement later
- add some electronic spice to your songs
- post production
- mix & arrangement of their songs

A small team with lean & mean skills, 1 on 1 attention, professional quality, flexible budget.

They are not a jamming or music studio but rather a production & post production suite. Not open for jamming sessions as yet, but by beginning of the next year they will be equipped with digital drums and stereo monitoring system

So far the ones my friends uses are called Studio 101 which is located in Petaling Jaya.

Their website's addy is http://www.101studios.com

VERY impressive list of foreign and local clients. Rates i think pretty reasonable. Better call to enquire.

You can reach them at their office at 03-78778501. Map found here at Studio 101 MAP HERE
