do you asked them how much?

last time when i sent my guitar to GG for setup alone it was RM150. RM135 consist of setup and minor mod works. personally i think that the quality of works is comparable to GG's quality.

and as for my warlock, they quoted that the size is 12 U (don't ask) and would be roughly around RM900 for a flight case.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with Bentley through e-mail? I was kinda lazy to call them, so I sent an e-mail to them... no reply for the past week or so.

...makes me kinda wonder why shops put their e-mail contacts on the Net and then don't bother replying...

Yeah, I called them anyway to see if I could order/pre-order an Ibanez from them. They told me to come to the shop... I e-mailed them in the off-chance that they would layan the e-mail. Guess not...

I mean, all I wanted to know is can order or not... why do I have to come to the shop just to find that out? If can order, I come lah... If I go to the shop and they tell me cannot order, gee, would've been a complete waste of time...

Bents sucks at emails. Call them directly or just visit their store for faster replies.

Is the website up? I cannot access it. Do you carry Casio? PX-110 or PX-200? I saw some Casio CTK models being offered on one of the threads in Trade/Music section.

I'm interested in checking out your site too, but it's down.

How true. I went in to Bents and met one nice chappie named Simon who was very helpful.

Anyway, I emailed Ishibashi - I got a reply within one day. All answers to my queries given in detail. Very helpful, very prompt - too bad we can't get that same level of attention from Bents.

I mean check it out, some guy 1000 miles away is willing to layan my queries, no pressure to buy, no "if you're serious about buying I will answer your questions, if you're not don't waste my time" attitude... Gee, why can't we emulate that kind of service here? ...guess the Look East policy is a failure on the service front...

Oh, and although I'm a bit miffed with Bents' email turnaround time (or lack thereof), I think their face-to-face service is quite decent.

You can't really blame Bents as Ishibashi is a large music retail in Japan that deals with online purchasing. They have their own dedicated international reps to answer your questions.
As for Bentley, they are just selling instruments through a retail shop & doesn't deal with online transactions. So don't expect them to check their email regularly, they might check it once in a while but sometimes it's hard for them to answer your questions online as the information needed might not be readily available.

bentley has a forum.

anybody knows where this Galeri Guitar is? 1st page says that it is accross ampang point. i've driven there about recently. don't seem to notice that shop though...

^I think there used to be a Guitar Collection there? That was when I was 14...5 years ago . Not sure if its still there though.
