Guys, may I know what does different build number represents? For example my build is FRG83

It represents the OS you are using and the version of it..Something like "service packs"

You can convert the partition from within the clockwork recovery itself actually. That's one thing I don't like about clockwork actually. The partitioning utility kinda sucks!

Even MIUI can switch between ADW/stock/LauncherPro with ease smile.gif I can't immagine how fast(er) a ROM can be than this MIUI, but I'll give it a shot..SenseUI has no chance over empty ROM though..That's what my experience with Sense so far has explained.. happy.gif

Yep..You can ☺ To use the best MIUI English version, search for "Rodriguez MIUI" on xda-developer.com smile.gif

For partition: You can use recovery to partition your sd card smile.gif

Yep..Something like that..Partiotioning will benefit A LOT to you..On computers, we partition to separate our DATA from the system and applications..But its the other way round on Android..On Android, our mission is to separate the APPLICATIONS instead..

Once you have enabled A2SD (Applications To SD storage), your applications will be saved on the SD card instead of the phone..That will free more space on your phone's internal RAM and hence your phone will perform better..Not only that, since SD card has huge space, you can choose how much you want to allocate for applications and as a result, you can install lots and lots and lots more applications smile.gif

QUOTE(Chilliaddict @ Dec 21 2010, 11:51 PM)
i did. what happens is my modem is kinda crappy, and i have to set the dns on all my wireless devices. but with the nexus i also have to set all the other stuff like gateway and such. any ideas?
*
Use ADB to achieve this. Fro streamyx, this would be:

CODE
adb shell setprop net.dns1 202.188.0.133
adb shell setprop net.dns2 202.188.1.5

If taht doesn't do the trick, try this:

CODE
adb shell setprop dhcp.eth0.dns1 202.188.0.133
adb shell setprop dhcp.eth0.dns2 202.188.1.5

Strange enough to see someone having to keyin DNS for internet though, but oh well..

Btw, I'm running Gingerbread on my Nexus One..So far no issues..Everything seems stable enough..
