Passed by again last night.
The name of the shop is Bake O' Cake - desserts, pastas and snacks.

So far, can't see any renovation work started for Village Grocer.
Will Village Grocer still be there, or they have pull out?
*
I was told, do not know whether is reliable or not, Village Grocer will probably open end of this year, just keep an eye on the corner shop....lot of happenings nearby ....new ISKL campus started construction, Raintree Club started talking about selling the club for development, road improvements started at the junction near Great Eastern Mall, Gleneagles extention completed....no wonder Mah Seng is still selling their M City final block at more than rm1000 psf!

ya, all these will take years that is if they materialize..so thinking of buying? get ready to hold for 5 to 10 years..

mah sing can kid themselves for all they want but 1000psf in this area ?- ban ban tan for waterfishes
*
But their earlier 2 blocks sold out wor...thousand over units....why people buy if not a good buy? Don't tell me all these buyers simply hentam without doing any thinking...all bodohbodoh went and bought a very overpriced property? hmm.gif
Some of the nearby developments will not take too long to complete, ISKL is a school, no need years to complete, I think they target 2018.Anyway, buying property is for long term gain not short term. The best point here is it is very close to city centre...less than 5-6km.

No, I am not an owner or have intention to buy, just here to share discussion...that's all. biggrin.gif

your "discussion" sound like you are a buyer.. laugh.gif  laugh.gif
never mind lah..hold 10 years sure the price double up..

target is one thing..actual is another so semua not confirmed ..
not only that there are so many supply coming online within the vicinity of MCity..

btw never heard of herd mentality?
*
Of course, we heard of herd mentality, even kampung people also know, you don't need to be highly intelligence to know lah...but sometime herd mentality also can make money wor...not all loser...I know people who joined in the frenzy buying, be it in the stock or property market...makes money...I think what is crucial is to know what are your goals, know your limits and most important ...not to have a loser mentality!
In any investments, there is a winner and a loser, just make sure you are not in the latter...that's about it.

Cannot see any work at the G floor corner retail has started.

If Village Grocer is really still on, perhaps it shall only starts its renovation end of this year, and only starts operating in Q1 2017.

Seems there is strong demand, particularly on the studio simplex, and the 3 bedrooms units.

If their multi-tier hanging garden can really materialize and can create the wow factor, i think the demand could be strong.
*
Just noticed that they have led lights illuminated on the building, very nice...could be one wow factor of a few more to come...

Nice!

From the photo, it seems quite many units have been occupied in Block 1.

For Block 2- still kinda dark, the lights on only in a few units.
*
Of course there are people started to move in, such a nice place...why leave it empty? Just VP not too long, it can be considered not bad liao, shop also start opening one by one, no need to wait for decadeS for these shops to open...all these proof the doomsayers wrong I guess...Element occupancy also not bad if judging by the number of lights on, just opposite Puteri Ampang Hospital also ada doing hugh extension, just like Gleneagles...this will create demand, I am sure got doctors, nurses, medical tourists would like to stay at these nearby apartments....don't forget the humongous ISKL campus is also coming up nearby... biggrin.gif

Just noticed there is a Drive Thru Starbucks just open for business...opposite M City, next to Urban Culture showroom. Another great handout place in Ampang.
