The no stock is probably a good thing. Given all the problem that we are hearing with the N8, maybe it is best to wait for the 2nd batch.

U have 6 choices in this case

Choice 1 : Go to every nokia store and ask

Choice 2 : Call all the nokia store in your area - http://bit.ly/cNCiur

Choice 3 : Check LYN Garage sale see which dealer got stock

Choice 4 : Buy Ap Nokia N8 the price will be higher but will have stock

Choice 5 : Get from telco set like Maxis

Choice 6 : As from normal handphone shop

from users reported here it seem the N8 having about ~95% good units yield... too bad mine is in those 5% group...

but the 5% group do they install many many apps?
or just minimum uses like me

have you checked sunway pyramid? there are a number of phone shops there....

if u ask me... i think i'm still NOT YET fully loaded my N8 and the first occurance of defective happen way too early then now (it's just after the 3rd days I got the unit)...

Also if u recall my previous reporting my N8 already been hard reset so the defect due to software already pull down to minimum... this make the defect highly due to hardware related...

Last week I went to Jusco Cheras Selatan Nokia shop, they got stock. But price is RRP I think. Give them a call.

Just for your info the price at shopping mall for handphones/gadgets and etc are quite high. U wan a better price lyn garage sales can get u a better deal.

Boy addicted to Burung marah...got a full version for US$2.29..Ok-lah pretty cheap...

not full version also only two levels. got 2 more missing. Ip4 i win already lol Now playing the hallowen version

Bought & installed liao Din know Ifon got more levels.. Dunno anymore interesting games other than this burung

Another cool app that I wanna get is 'Measure It" so far I only know ifon got that..very cool...snap a picture & measure the length..still can't find such app in Symbian
