QUOTE(hengguowei @ Nov 7 2010, 09:57 PM) it doesn't matter what codec/container you use...the video resolution is the one that matters...the ideal resolutionfor N900 is 480 or lower...anything higher the framerate is bad... sifu have spoken. Sifu take more photos of creature or animal. Enough of trees di haha i see trees later i got phobia sifu |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Nov 7 2010, 11:10 PM) Android sucks a bit when it comes to power management. Even now at Froyo, but that's 'nix bases mobile oses for you - compared to a 'proper' implementation of Symbian (which S3 definately isn't). Hopefully Gingerbread settles that issue - and the whole ad-hoc fiasco. sifu have spoken haha. I never tested N800 or N810 but back then it was a WOW tablet. But really, as far as mobile oses go, Maemo is not bad really. It's even running respectably on the puny 400mhz OMAP and 128MB RAM that my N810 has - multitasking and all. A couple more PR updates and the N900 would have been killer stable. Hopefully Nok gets Meego right. BTW, it's actually kinda strange that Nokia did a few things better on the old 810. For one, bluetooth keyboards work flawlessly with minimal tweaking, and the hardware buttons are extremely useful. Other than that, I'm happy to just be able to play with Xterm again, tho a few things are harder on Diablo (Mae4) compared to Fremantle (Mae5). |

Thank god u guys finally understand the true pupose of frontpage. Have u heard of a saying What never kills you makes you stronger.
Now 80% of your phone crash ah flash phone cannot boot ah flash la you guys make it sound so simple because u guys take the extra step to learn the hard way. Even symbian ^3 wanna format or update firmware they make it so bloody complicated. Everyone thinks its very easy to become TS of a thread just create topic ma. If you compare to the Nokia N8 thread and our thread you notice the huge difference. We have more information than spams. When new people visit this thread they learn more and those yet to become gets addict or interested because its purely information sharing than kopitiam sharing. When i am doing the guides and u face problem you complain it also benefits me and improve me to make a better guide because it helps me understand your needs. Sorry about being evil but thanks to you guys that play along makes the frontpage powerful. If every single one of you reply to their question the frontpage will still be crap and why? Why do u need to read the frontpage when the answers automatic appear when asked. Even nobody online the frontpage speaks it self and even all the sifu cannot online other members can help them Thank you everyone here for sharing and especially GRANDMASTER SIFU SUPER_EVIL_ALIEN TO CONTINUE THE LEGACY Added on November 8, 2010, 7:32 am QUOTE(ShrugsLova @ Nov 8 2010, 04:50 AM) by the way anyone know where the low light apps, outcome photo stored. QUOTE(Andy214 @ Nov 8 2010, 12:58 PM) Correction, Nokia giving more Customer Care to N8 compared to N900 They should started Nokia N8 earlier then wont so many ppl complain. When Ip4 was launch nokia n8 got no fight already.N900 get more "care" from "The Communities" If you have problems with your N900 (non hardware related), I think you'll find better support here than Nokia Care For N8, I'm not really sure about the hardware problems; Maybe due to the "hard to remove" battery, which cause more problem because most users are used to "removing the battery solution". Secondly, if the phone hangs, sometimes you need to remove the battery and let the phone out of power source for a while, and re-try. But with N8, since the battery is hard to remove, this solution is hard to apply. Anyway, my personal complain on the N8 is: 1. The MONO speaker and the placement of the speaker. Such a shame really with MONO speaker, following the traits of iPride. 2. Lack of physical keyboard; The physical keyboard is really useful in MANY situations. Having using N900 for longtime, using N8 without physical keyboard is really a pain. You're relying fully on the touch screen.... 3. Finally, the AMOLED I suppose? It seems, it's normal on N8. I've tested another N8 at Nokia Shop with the picture I taken, seems having similar problems. It's wierd as last time I compare, there seems to be no such problem except on my device, unless that device is still VERY NEW and will become like that overtime..... I heard the CEO nokia was fired because of this they have this technology very long ago. They delayed too long if they launch before IP4 was in the market at least they call it a comeback but after ip4 launch its like no fight This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Nov 8 2010, 01:54 PM |
