hello everyone,

just wonder did anyone check with ADT how's their package like? is it very expensive for just an standard alarm system for a DS house?

i feel ADT stand by it's name in term of support and etc.

sourcing for alarm system as well for my house which is in renovation now.

I am using a Paradox SP 6000 system in my house currently. The ADT system was cheaper however teh drawback was teh monthly payment of RM 75/= for 2 years. They only call you and tell you your alarm has gone off. If they cannot get you or your desiganted numbers they call the police. With my Paradox my alram calls me and my designate numbers. It only does not call authorities. In the long run i feel my Paradox system saves cost.

After 2 years then up to you if you want to use ADT service or not. You can continue if not u can continue to use the alarm without CMS. About RM 800-1000 (depending on the number of points-sensors) cheaper. In the long run you pay the diff and more in the 2 yeras smile.gif

I see that some forummers have the Paradox SP6000 series and had it work with Unifi (fiber line). Paradox VDMP3 Plug-In Voice Module?

Anyone knows if this module will work with Maxis Home internet Fiber line?

Thanks!

Yes it does. You will need to chg some settings in you modem/router. Call maixs fibre line and they will assist you. Mine works fine. Go to http://192.168.1.254. They had to chg something in toolbox from +3db to -3db I cannot recall exactly how to get there now.
