May be their competitors try to sabotage. My shop was having some electrical problems but my electrician spent hours couldn't solve it, and luckily they came to add on some sensors. This happens to all industries. Just rang a Mattress vendor and asked for Dreamland Freshguard Miracoil. The vendor told me there're many sellers in the forum trying to sabotage his brands. Anyways, he explained well over the phone, and i will pay him a visit this afternoon and see how it goes.

I actually contacted one of the company mentioned here but their response is lukewarm- answer message slow, have to remind them to give quote and after give quote, they didn’t even call or check if I’m interested. maybe too much business already hehe

i am using bluguard, everytime thunderstorm sure alert, else ppl play cracker also it beep. crazy aalarm vibration sensor

My new home is under construction at the moment, the brochure mentioned developer provide alarm wiring. So pretty much I'm here to survey for alarm system (preferable one which is able to arm/disarm from handphone, and able to communicate with the CCTV system perhaps?). So far names that came up was Paradox and Blugard, any other I should be considering?

My existing home now is using Sharp SmartHome, so it has these features (mobile connect + communicate with the CCTV) however being wireless the reliability is questionable. So this time around want to go for wired plus if need to add in more points to do during the construction period.

Thanks! Contacted them, seems their SmartHome series are full wireless... which is something I didn't quite like cause not so reliable 

Btw, contacted the contractor handling the project's alarm wirning, he said the main unit is kept above the 2nd floor ceiling... wah seh is this normal ah? if got "mickey mouse" then bite the cable finish lor? 

Also he don't carry Paradox or Blugard but instead this brand called Supa...

Alarm notification via WhatsApp I have not encountered before but Wechat is available. As for single camera image Cloud upload most recent DVR or NVR have this feature.

I just changed to maxis fibre from unifi.
My paradox vdmp3 initially was connected via a splitter to my phone through unifi fixed line.
Upon changing to maxis fibre it doesn't work anymore.
Do u have any idea how to fix this?

Anyone thought of putting a fake ADT logo/decal? Read their website, first layer of protection is the adt decal as it shows u r protected.

Another layer is monitoring and alarm. Just use eufycam or arlo pro or ultra.

Your other layer is metal grills.

If go for a smart home solution, the price is probably less than RM1.2K, smart home solution such as Aqara/Xiaomi is wireless, IoT technology, better app to mange house security, able to integrate to voice control such as Alexa, Google Home.
