2 keypads (1 master bedroom & 1 living hall) & 3 PIR sensors (2 inside ceiling top & 1 in living hall).

He completed installation at my house 3 weeks ago. Very nice guy and professional.

Only issue I have now is I am unable to dial into the system via the phone. Get something like fax tone after the phone rings 8 times. Winson said for some homes the Unifi is not compatible. Works fine when plug out the panasonic cordless phone. System dialling out however works fine. Anyone managed to find a solution ?

Anyone here also installed the Paradox IP100 Internet module perhaps as another solution for this issue ?

will snap it when I am free later, PIR is Paradox brand, shock and magnetic sensor, as far as I know, for wired one, paradox do not have it, they only have wireless one (which cost u a bomb ), my shock and magnetic sensors brand is Ebelco local brand one, also considered as a reliable local brand for alarm accs For me magnetic switch any brand will do, only have to select the shock sensor the one I am using have 3 sensitivity levels for user to adjust

winson adv. me to change the phone.  dont use the panasonic cordless phone, change to other brand will solve the problem.  i change to motorola.  it work in order.

I have a vibration sensor for the door grille, magnetic sensor for the internal door.

You are correct bro, unless you parallel both sensors into the same zone then it will allow you to have xx seconds for you to disarm. IMHO, if setup grill with vibration sensor at your main gate, it is good for security but will increase the chance of triggering false alarm, like small animal knock one the gate etc (my old house, bird use to do such silly thing).

im not sure for all these vibration sensor for grill, its not that the burglar is a monkey that hard shake the grill , then again if set to minimum sensitivity will not trigger to the alarm , i always put my self in the burglar shoe.....if i want to go in ur house , first thing is see where is the sensor and disable it first....it has to be attached to the grill....logically easy to take out ....

i've yet to get a alarm system for my house .....with all these thinking i still couldnt get a robust system that will pass me first. Sometime i feel really sad that we live in fear even in our own property .....how can we improve this in malaysia?

how often do you get false alarm on heavy lightning ?

my house doesn't come with telephone lines. everything by TM fibre optic. so now, TM says no available ports for us yet.

if this is the case, what options do i have? is an alarm with GSM module and a new sim card the only option?

another question, the ADT will contact the police if they can't reach us, correct? do the police actually come and how fast?
