would like to ask a few questions . first of all , i had searched all over the net the best i could i am still in a unsure and confused state. too many different sources and infos.

here it is :

for barbell curls , how is the PROPER way to do ? ( srsly , i did like 4x10 and i did not feel any shit ? ) :
-stand straight? or bend knees a lil to reduce pressure impact ?
-when grabbing the barbell/doing the workout, ARM(Right + left ) should stick to the body(beside chest) OR leave 1 inch space?
- any other steps ? proper one.. rclxub.gif

for push ups and sit ups / crunches ,
- can we do it daily ?
- how many set n rep should we do ( do until tired/ the most we can / fixed rep ) ?

was consuming milk since childhood until.... read tis from somewhere since 2 years ago ; do not drink milk , it will cause some cancer ( stomach cancer if i not mistaken), is it true ? =_= "

Bout the barbell curls, leave that to the pros to answer biggrin.gif

For push-ups and crunches, yes, you can do it daily, try searching for One Hundred Pushups and Two Hundred Sit Ups if u want to,it's liek a 6-week program and they will tell u how many reps and sets u will do each day..three times a week..within 6 weeks u can do one hundred pushups and two hundred situps..

About the milk, don't believe that..milk is very good..if milk does cause cancer..babies won't be drinking it anymore..then how to build strong bones?

ermm...maybe it's too light for you. grab some more weights and make sure it's heavy enuff to stop at 7-8 reps with good form. 4x10 is for building endurance, not muscles.

standing straight should be alright, it's gonna add a lil bit more core and support.

if you don't get sore it shouldn't be a problem but sit ups alone probably won't get you anywhere. you should combine with healthy diet and cardio if you want to get flat stomach or six pack abs.

For biceps curl :stand straight, your wrist curl up, go till very top then squeeze your biceps hard
Push-ups, sit-ups; I know it easy to do that for lot of reps, muscle grow by rest. If you overexercise it won't grow.
My suggestion is do resistance training maximum 5 days a week, then no more.
Every session try to push-yourself hard.
All body-weight exercise is intended to be done until failure. Around 3 sets till failure.

I have never heard about that, if you are teenagers then you can drink milk.
If you are older adult, milk is not that good.

Every pack of milk you found in supermarket is pasteurized. It means the milk is heated up in ultra high temperature to kill the germs.
When milk is in ultra high temperature, the useful vitamins minerals, and enzyme taken away.
Just like when you cook your veggie for long periods, or boil your fruit juice.
It hardly have any nutrients. It is a dead food.
It makes even some minerals harder to digest.

Although I know that I still drink milk!
Because there is no good substitute so far.

Milk is dead food?
What useful vitamins and minerals are taken away during pasteurization?
And your earlier statement said it's not so good for older adults, now you say it's dead food. Dead food shouldn't be good for anybody, much less older adults.

Protein is still there. Calcium is still there. I'm sorry, but I feel your statement is terribly false.

Dairy food in fact is not necessary for good health.
It's a fact, nothing funny about it.
If you still confused, go google yourself.
If you still think it's terribly false, read more books about health, and educate yourself. That's the best way to know.

Young people can drink milk because it can help them to gain weight fast.
They can't gain weight fast without aid of milk.

Once the gain enough, limit your intake of milk.
For older people, try to get calcium from supplements, or vegetables.

I just get it from reading a lot health and fitness books.
If you still curious, go buy a book in Popular about danger of milk.
You don't need to buy actually, just go through the book there.

You have not answered a single question put out, and continue to dodge questions because you are unable to support your points with fact. And with your latest post, you resort to calling me confused and questioning my education.

I have educated myself for the past few years well enough to call your points for what it is, BS. Maybe you should take your own advice and educate yourself?

First of all, you started saying milk is not good for older adults? Why? Don't go dodging the question again.

You said vitamins and minerals are taken away from milk during pasteurization making it dead food. What vitamins and minerals are lost during pasteurization?

You call milk dead food. Dead food shouldn't bring any good to anybody. And yet you go to contradict yourself to say milk is good for young people?

Why is it better to get calcium from supplements rather than milk?

If you want to reply, do it by answering the above 4 questions. It tickles me when someone who claims he reads a lot of books can put out contradictory facts to medical professionals and insist he's right. Answer the questions.
