Currently I am staying in a 2  1/2 stories terrace house ie garage at the lower ground and would like to wall up the garage with some bricks, sliding door and windows. No extension outside or concrete beam required as the walling will be from current left wall to right wall and floor to ceiling beam.

Search DBKL's website and can't find anything on what I planned to do. Anyone know whether permit is required. Their guideline says any renovation involving concrete and steel bars requires approval.

One caution BEWARE of COWBOYS contractors. Get a few quotations. Check their reliability. Don't be fooled by the pictures they showed you on their completed projects.
