For complete submission will take almost 10k including drawing, cns, architect, dbkl fee etc..

Approval will take 2weeks, last for 1 year if not mistaken.

For your Grand structure renovation needs all this for submisssion:

Architect fees + Drawing = 3k [Few detail of drawing]
Civil & Structure Endorsment + Drawing = 3k [Few detail of drawing]
Plan Deposit to DBKL + Tong sampah etc = almost 3k

All above is the minimum cost depends on how big is your renovation.

If the contractor quote u less than this because of they don't draw the new layout for your new house,
beam plan, steel plan etc etc ....
They will use standard renovation plan for single or double storey renovation book, normally it cost RM50

If u don't go all those process, just do your renovation and please ensure all your neighbour were inform.
