May i know where to apply the renovation permit ? My house at serdang heights, seri kembangan. I want to extend my wet kitchen, pls see attached floor plan. the extend area is 22' x 4.5'. My contractor ask me to apply myself but i dun know this kind of thing at all since 1st time buy house.   wish u all can guide me. 

Pls answer my questions below:
1) Where to apply?
2) How much to do this?
3) I need to hire a architect to draw the actual plan for submit?
4) Take how long to approve? I plan to start renovate on 9 March 2011.
5) What document needed?

Hi, I intend to renovate my house as well, on my plan to extend my kitchen and my front porch... In fact, I just bought this house in Sri Petaling, and I was being told as such renovation work requires a permit from DBKL before to proceed.
The issue right now, as there isn't any drawing initially and hence with, I am hoping to acquire some quotation on the drawing + submission to DBKL for approval.
What docs do I really need?
