If talking about MBPJ, BMSJ, yes, 3k should be enough, but my experiance about DBKL is very dificult, i try once, (1 year ago) they asking 12k, and take at lease 3 months to get the premit, and the person doing summition said that too expensive just because they need to go for meeting so many time just only to get the premit (dono how true is it), that why taking lot of time, and the fees also will be high. but if you get a standard plan will be easy, but too bad there is no more standard plan, so, u hv to go for the normal way.

well, just to sharing, i did a house renovation without premit b4, owner decision is, when DBKL come, we just spend them some kopi, then they will left already, and the kopi may not cost 12k in total, and once the work is done, those officer ask for kopi 1 will not come anymore, usually they come to say some 1 complain but actually they just pass by, they don even have official document.

So, finally the work is done, we pay no kopi to any officer. But this is a risky way ofcoz.
