QUOTE(Deckard Cain @ Jun 23 2011, 06:27 PM) Also guys, I read a lot about Sager and how flexible it is in terms of changing GPU, SLI, Graphic cards and such but why are people still reluctant in buying a Sager lappy? Though i noticed that the warranty is not a Sager warranty but other then that, it seems to offer a lot. Is there a secret we normal ppl don't know? The Sager warranty is offered by Sager. And a dealer warranty refers to domestic/regional warranty which is coordinated with US Sager headquarter to avoid global shipment for claiming warranty. But still, if serious problem occurs, still have to send over US. Eg: CPU, GPU and motherboard. This post has been edited by Prince J: Jun 23 2011, 08:30 PM

QUOTE(Deckard Cain @ Jun 24 2011, 12:45 PM) Really look like a Disco Boom Box.. am loving it.. just wondering if i do work presentation.. ppl will freak out or not. Added on June 24, 2011, 12:50 pmI see.. I think there's a safe bet that at least it is warantied by US Sager but the thought of sending it back to US. it will take a considerable amount of time before you get the repairs done and get it back. What is the average time it takes for lets say a graphic card issue to get it replaced and returned? I know this is something my dad would buy.. he's hardcore when it comes to beast machines and gaming. In term of repairing process, I think I should explain that every branded notebook service center has to import parts from foreign country except Dell (headquarter in Penang), they normally don't keep stock for that because it will generate high depreciation cost. Same thing happens also to Dell if the repairing machine is very old, which the parts are hardly secured in the market, then maybe you have to wait for 3 to 4 months time. My friend acer machine 8600gt spoils, it takes half a year to be fully repaired. I am not sure for other dealer repairing process, but for our company, it usually takes 2 weeks up to 4 weeks.
