You can upgrade memory and HDD without void the warranty.
As explained by Sanko QUOTE(Sanko @ Jan 8 2012, 07:17 PM) Here is how it works, at least for Malaysia Service Provider. Once they find out your warranty sticker has been tampered, they will check whether the memory is upgraded or not. If it's upgraded, then proceed to warranty. So if the sticker is tampered due to upgrading of Memory and HDD, do not worry about voiding the warranty. |

RM300 pretty much the market price for 128GB SSD,
so you lose money on the HDD but the SSD will be covered by MSI.. |

QUOTE(Areas Elysian @ Jul 19 2013, 05:29 PM) Yeah, pretty much that. nVidia control panel disappears entirely and I can't set a preferred graphics when running applications/games. From my experience, disabling the GPU (Optimus) via device manager, the nVidia GPU will keep running, power consumption higher compared to just leave it alone.Did you use any temperature reading during battery testing? You shouldn't have anything that read the nVidia temperature, since that would keep turning it on/off, resulting more power consumption. and also enable the notification from nVidia, ![]() ![]() Should be empty during battery testing.. |
