Well, each store has it's pros and cons.

At least Gentech could do repasting for you and customise your laptop.

GTX285M = overclocked GTX280M with slight architecture update to adapt with i-series CPU's mobo. highest-end GPU for Dx10.1 so far.

GTX460M = using newer architecture with DDR5 support, so cannot compare with its previous generation (GTX285M, for example). have advantages in tessellation performance for Dx11 too.

its not a smart move if not upgrading to GTX460M... its like a whole new level already, at least in a year time where more Dx11 games is being released...

I think we wont get many DX11 games out even at the end of next year, as consoles are still using DX9. Probably need to wait till the next generation of consoles only we will see DX11 more often than now.

I've been hearing my msi roaring for long hour since last night 3d rendering can really seems so painful to the laptop ><..but then the good thing is all my cores are running @ 76~82 degree with turbo mode on..which i think is good right?

Not really, as now, we also have our PC killers, Metro 2033.

Even top of the range desktops have issues in trying to run it on maximum. M15x, G660 and G73 all just lagged beyond recognition with that game on max. Only can run on high.

yeah, forgot that MSI got one special button to automatically OC the system

It's call Turbo mode for MSI laptop. G73 also have one, but it only overclock the CPU.
