Hey guys, I don't know if you all have the same problem, but the battery of my gt680r max out at 98% and it stops charging.

I only realized it today. It is always at 98% even though it's plugged in

ckyned: yeap try calling them tomolo..maybe already arrive tongue.gif

@razorboy: You pluck in ur battery + play ur laptop? if ur at home and gona leave ur laptop on for a long time, take out battery..overcharge or constant charge is not good for the battery..it will degrade the battery thus performing weaker..

Hey there. my fren is getting a gaming laptop soon. currently alienware is way beyond his budget. i've search around and find out about GE620-DX, which equipped with i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT555M (2GB) & 8GB RAM. Any1 using dis laptop? I found the spec quiet interesting since its better than the alienware m14x. the only cons i found abt it is lack of blink2x. laugh.gif If any of you all give a positive feedback then i would gladly tell my friend to buy dis lappy. Any feedback really welcomed. Thx in advance. biggrin.gif

M14x's GT555M is 144SP/192-bit DDR3, while the GE620DX's GT555M is 144SP/128-bit DDR3
GT555M has a lot of variants,
The Lenovo Y570's GT555M is 96SP/128-bit GDDR5,
Asus N45SF/Asus N55SF/Sager NP5165's GT555M is 144SP/128-bit DDR3,
MSI GX780 using GT555M 144SP/128-bit GDDR5..

Thinking of getting this model . Do you guys think it will support CoD MW3 or BF 3 , i only put high settings in texture , bullet impact ..things like shadow - off AA - 2x . One more things , im afraid of this laptop getting too hot and will pop * overheat so far never experienced that on my vaio . BTW is there any laptop with gpu ddr5 within rm3.5k

The GT780 is the one with GTX560 right? or the GTX570? anyone, i think someone here already got his GX780, we will just wait for him to answer you as user experience is far superior than just reading what the internet says

The GX680 is no longer available as it is being replaced by GT683 which is slightly more powerful with better g/c

Local market will be quite expensive but there are reason why they set it so high up. It comes with 12gb (or was it 16gb i forget) rams, 500gb HDD + 120GB SSD, blu-ray drive.
