SoundBlaster launches QuakeLive on CyberGamer!

Thanks to SoundBlaster and CyberGamer we are proud to announce the QuakeLive Champions League and Open Ladder. The premier duelling base for Australian QuakeLive! We hope to bring you well run competitions for players and top class coverage for spectators. Our priority is helping you fit easily into this new competition, so we've coded a fully working league and ladder system to handle challenges, map choices, and results. We will be casting a 'Match of the week' each week as well as a 'In the mind of:' cast each week having a pro dueller give some on-the-fly insight into how he plays the game. We'll keep you updated in the forums about these. Thanks to SoundBlaster we have been granted $750 + SoundBlaster Headsets as the Champions League prize purse per season, and for the Open Ladder we have $100 + a SoundBlaster Headset!

Both the Champions League and the Open Ladder are currently taking Sign-ups. They both start on the 15th of November.

Champions League

The Champions League will hold Australias best duellers to let them duke it out to fight for #1! To join the Champions League you must fill out an application. Then a panel of experienced QuakeLive community experts will judge the top 32 to go through. The Champions League will run for 5 weeks.

Open Ladder

The Open Ladder is a little bit more casual, allowing for players of all skill ranges to join and compete. Please read the sign-up procedures and the rules on the ladder page before signing up. The Open Ladder will run for around 3 months.

Thanks and goodluck!
Not really expecting any sort significant turnout from Malaysia but I'm just letting the word out.

guardioo pings 60ms to perth servers on a 4Mb Streamyx DSL. He also added that UniFi gets 50ms to perth.

So for those that are interested, SIGN UP!!!
