QUOTE(Alexcsyan @ Jan 29 2013, 08:41 PM) That would be the 7500 model.. which is a lot more expensive to have that lil more feature.. so I opt for the 7100..Anyway I've received the TV today, but i was very shocked with the backlight bleeding... I know bleed happens on lcd/led tv but not sure to what level it is acceptable and does samsung entertain replacement unit for backlight bleeding issue? |

QUOTE(Mea Culpa @ Jan 29 2013, 11:51 PM) Its quite normal for Edge LED, my LG LED 2011 was also just as bad especially the top corners, my replacement unit came even worse than the 1st one. That's what I thought as well... Because even a replacement unit might not guarantee a good one. But the current backlight bleed appears in all 4 corners.. not sure if that is a bit extreme..Its all about LUCK. |

QUOTE(Mea Culpa @ Jan 31 2013, 07:01 AM) Then why the shop demos set everthing to dynamic? When ppl buy the thing they expect the same perfotmance. When you want to show off whether the product is good are you gonna play a dvd quality video/images with some mediocre settings to impress your customers? Definitely no right. Is just that when it comes to home application you can still go with the dynamic settings or whichever that you find it suits your viewing pleasure. But I agree with some of them here that the Dynamic really hurt the eyes after some period of time watching. You can change to that settings to impress your guests once in a while but maybe not for day to day astro watching. Anyway some additional lesson I learn from buying LCD/LED tvs is to always make sure your tv is protected with the max available warranty. My previous philips 47" broke down after just 1 month pass the warranty period and Philips quoted a freaking RM3k to fix it. This post has been edited by selinix: Jan 31 2013, 10:59 AM |
