Bought the 60KS7000 at Kuala Lumpur International AV Fair 2016. Was surprised that the 60" is available which is the size I was looking for as 55" is a bit small for my hall. Delivery on Friday.

Alamak, can tell me how much you bought it? Any discount ?
Went there looking for 55" KS;7000 or LG Oled B6 series.

No official LG booth, Samsung price doesn't show any reduction of rrp, never enquire to the rep there partly coz I realise the width of 55" feet almost as long a my 📺 rack, A bit risky in case of accidental knock.

Apparently 60" version you can put the tv feet closer together.

TQ, went to see the new Samsung TV but only got MU9000 & 7000 , didn't see much difference/upgrade compared to KS7000. No Q7F model displayed but I wouldn't pay the asking price anyway.

Actually waiting for Sony X900E and now only realised Sony not bringing it here !

I did go through few review and forums for 2017 Samsung and yes the Q7F not actually getting favorable review.

As for rtings review there's few opinions that it got to be bad sample or bad manufacturing batch ( rtings did purchase Q7F twice ) because no way the measurement is that bad.

KS7000(8000) is advertised as HDR1000 and most review shows it can exceed that consistently at small peak window , but the Q7F which claim HDR1500 has HALF the measurement brightness.
To me something is off, surely Samsung knew that some website will do proper review + measurement for them to try and 'cheat' the specs.
Anyway I could be wrong and it is really a lousy TV 🙂

Still waiting for delivery, but what do you watch on HDR? YouTube ? cos I won't be buying UHD bluray player + disc.

Sorry if this has been discussed (can't find it ) but can you guys plays youtube in true 4K using built in tv apps ?

I have KS7000 but can never get it, highest is 2560 x 1440 but mostly 1080 only. Using 50Mbps Unifi.

Google search , there are few reports but seems no clear answer, thanks.

Yes, no problem at all. You connect through LAN cable or WiFi?

If WiFi, try to use 5GHz connection

Connected using LAN

No problem on my side as well (KS7000)

I'm using 50mbps Unifi WiFi (Wireless AC connection) 5ghz.

EDIT also take note 4k content is pretty much limited in Youtube, Try to search for 4K channel (those that uploaded most of the TV Demo video), and open up Stats for Nerds.

It should be at full 3840 resolution (4k)
*
Yes trying those demo 4k or movie trailer in 4k channel, stats for nerds still shows max 2560x1440
Firmware 1180
Other forum ,there’s suggestion to pause and let buffer to fill up, still same

Might be a bug with the app.

Try using WiFi 5GHz band. Apparently someone use it as a workaround to get 4k.

Doesnt seem to like only affect KS7000, since owner of Q7, LG and etc also reporting such issue.

You never mentioned what's the transfer speed showing in the Stats.
*
Late reply (wasn't home) , tried using Wifi 5GHz still same , the connection speed in stats for nerds always hover around 9000Kbps regardless of connection method.
Speedtest.net figures around 50-52 Mbps but on Fast.com its about 10Mbps,
When playing youtube 4k on my desktop I can get true 4K with the same connection speed in stats for nerds.
