I'm having similar problems logging into Samsung as well. It also says password and email doesn't match. I just tried to register my UA40D5000 TV, and don't know whether it registered properly or not. No confirmation and just a blank screen after I click on "next" after filling in all my details.

Mainly for me, it's the 4 HDMI input and the Ethernet LAN (with the AllShare) feature that won me over.

Last year model = discounted price. So the UA40D5000 wins again.

BEST Denki was selling at RM1899. I found it cheaper elsewhere, but don't want to spoil the market.
