For HDR content i try on netflix and guardian of the galaxy 2 i downloaded which has 4k HDR resolution.
On samsung MU6100 the default HDR setting, color i have to re-calibrate because the color produce not very accurate and oh boy the juddering very bad on MU6100. Also I cannot find how to turn off auto dimming on samsung. All eco setting already turn off.
On sony the other hand, It has 2 option for HDR. when I choose HDR vivid, wow the color, picture motion (very little and almost not noticeable juddering) and clearness of the picture are very good. I have no complain. I have not calibrate the HDR setting and leave at default.
Of course this is very subjective issue. Maybe you guys got good MU6100 with no backlight problem.
And I have to give credit to samsung support/customer service and also sen heng SS2 staff for assist me with no anger.
My advice is, when buy new TV, please check the TV at store first before bring back home. Make sure u bring ur own movie and test until u satisfied with the TV.
This sony TV i tested in store and directly pickup from store instead have them deliver to my house.
