Hi guys new owner of Sammy UA40D6000 here.
Wife got it for me from Jusco for RM2999 + 2 glasses + wifi adapter. Fits in nicely for my small gaming room.
Also, if you have a compatible HT system with HDMI ARC, you can control both sound and TV from the TV remote, which is awesome. I'm watching Youtube in 3D now LOL

QUOTE(idesmond @ Jan 17 2012, 04:25 PM) Anyone knows where i can buy the Samsung wifi dongle? Have you tried best Denki? QUOTE(Mar-1-A @ Jan 17 2012, 06:33 PM) Hi guys, I have just purchased a Samsung UA46D6000. I plugged in my PS3 console using an HDMI cable. I'm having problems with games that have high speed picture motion. The picture becomes very blurry even when the 3D mode is off. Any advice? Thanks, M Not sure cause no problem on my 40". Have you enabled game mode?

QUOTE(Mar-1-A @ Jan 17 2012, 07:05 PM) I have enabled game mode. but i think the calibration should be done on the motion plus feature. what is the best calibration for motion plus in ur opinion? Appreciate it Actually I've not done much calibration because my 40" is only a few weeks old. But on games like battlefield, crysis, uncharted 2, I basically use movie mode and have never faced the blur issue, sorry I can't be of more help.

Doesn't make sense since I don't have issues. And I've put in games that are fast moving, lots of particle effects etc. But then again maybe cause my screen is smaller (UA40D6000).

QUOTE(azeemzuhair @ Jan 21 2012, 09:27 AM) Finally, my Samy 40D6600 is in my living room. Got it from SenQ @ RM3499 - RM120 = RM3379. Comes with four (4) 3D glasses. 2 in the box. 2 more FREE offer by SenQ. The RM120 rebate is because I upgrade my Astro to B.yond. Watching movies in 3D with MKV format is superb! Worth every penny... Plus, the Samsung Remote Apps for iPhone works brilliantly... Watching YouTube in HD is "wow!" (provided connection is high-speed & stable) Next upgrade is.... OLED (only if it is below RM3K.... in 5 years time....?) My rate for this model is 4 / 5 stars.... (Only the default sound system is average...) Nice! Actually I'm curious as to the difference between yours and my UA40D6000. Does yours have the 2d to 3d converter?

QUOTE(azeemzuhair @ Jan 30 2012, 08:39 PM) if u have iPhone or Android phones, the SmartTV features will be easy to browse because there is Samsung Remote Apps that can replace the stock remote to type using the QWERTY keyboard in the apps. Else, typing letter-by-letter using the stock remote is troublesome (must use T9 predictive input...). U will hate to use the SmartTv due to the keyboard entry headaches... Eh I just found this out. Will try it when I get home. BTW am loving my SmartTV. Youtube is pretty awesome, especially in 3D. Plus it plays almost everything I throw at it.

QUOTE(MadZiZ @ Feb 8 2012, 11:45 PM) Anyone here knows what is the DNS for samsung tv to connect to the Internet going through unifi? Would be glad if someone can assist me on this as i am unable to connect I'm using unifi too on my Samsung (UA40d6000) and I have been able to connect to the Samsung App store, Youtube, Picasa etc with no problem. The wifi adapter works like any other wifi device. Maybe you have to allocate it a static IP? I changed my router to an Asus one and it works really well.

QUOTE(zeone @ Feb 10 2012, 09:10 AM) They all hv AV ports, rite? They also came with AV connectors. So easiest to get a 4-1 AV Switcher unit. Cheap & Easily available @most electronic parts shops. Actually you can look for a Component switcher. Slightly more expensive but you get progressive scan, which is REALLY important when you have a TV 40" and above. I bought mine online, brand was Farmer. Try looking for it at Jalan Pasar.

QUOTE(Sakai1 @ Feb 10 2012, 04:35 PM) I'm staying in Penang. Anybody has any good place to recommend?
Then I recommend you go to Play-Asia.com or similar sites. They ship to Malaysia. I COULD try and find mine (I'm sure I have it) but I don't think you want a used, 5 year old one, right?
