I think we shud stick with hargo, calling him Owen is too confusing besides, we dont call our players Paul, Ryan, John, Michael, Nemanja, or Luís Carlos Almeida
True, but just funny thinking how somebody thought of Michael Owen when he's clearly would be an off topic subject at the moment.
Of course I don't expect us to win big everytime, and given the circumstances I knew this was not going to be easy..But did u honestly like the performance? I certainly don't, and I'm just voicing my disatisfaction..the first half was our worst performance at home this season..I think only minority will argue with me when I say we didnt deserve to go up 1-0 at half time..Speaking of Bebe and Obertan, I just said what I thought of their performance, if u read properly I did not at all disregard their potential..I certainly don't feel any wrong by saying things as it is, but that doesnt mean I'm not supporting them
Honestly without most major players, it's just satisfying enough to see us winning. And with the like of Obertan, Hernandez, Bebe, who are relatively young and inexperienced in BPL, and O'shea in the middle i wouldn't complain much though. And who would have thought Park would play very well and score 2 very important goals?
Again I really don't like to repeat myself here. We are out with some injuries thus we are putting obertan n bebe n oshea there. When is the lAst time u see them play together? Do u think it was really easy for a team to gel? Fergie did some gamble here by not starting scholes which our best attacking player we have tonight to avoid he collect another yellow card thus missing the city game. Our game plan was defend solid n hit them on the break. When it does goes as plan, he bring on scholes. Definitely it change the whole course of the game. Come on u have live with it. Not every time we can have our best 11 to play. Even we have we still have to use the sparingly for every competition. It was a lucky win but we made the luck at the end and a very well win as well.
We really need to be thankful because as far as i can remember we had injury crisis in our defence in 2009 and 2008 on November/December. We should be thankful that the defence senior are still there (Ferdinand, Vidic, Bron and Evra) Touchwood la dei.
I will repeat this again, I am happy with the result but not the performance in the first half..don't see any reason I should be satisfied with the first half when we were arguably 2nd best against Wolves at home, regardless of who started..not everyone disappoint me though, I meant it as an overall evaluation
We started poorly probably due to them taking some times to get used to each other like @leongtat said, we rarely see them played/started together. So it is still understandable.

okay then I should be singing the praise of some of the players eventhough they performed badly, is that fair enough for u?
Don't need to praise, just give them a break once in a while. Reason? Already written by boxy, leongtat and me. Yeah i know dude, it's just an opinion but if we lost this game, then i think we don't have problem if you want to criticize.

Disagree with Lampard and Essien providing creativity, they are not really creative players..But they certainly do miss them..Why didnt we go for Essien last time
We made the offer too but Essien preferred Chelsea instead.
I only heard 2 quite similar stories, 1 is we rejected him when he was on trial with us at 17 because of his size that time. The other is that he couldnt get his work permit when he was on trial with us at 17. Didn't remember anything about us bidding for him around the time before his move to Chelsea, because I think he would have joined us since ManUtd is his favourite club. I might still be wrong though.
Don't know where the greedy part came from, think you've mistaken him with Mikel.
You should read more dude.
Don't compare Mikel even with Essien, that greedy bastard. Already signed the contract for United but went for Chelski instead.

Any links to articles regarding Essien choosing Chelsea over us? I do read a lot, but I really don't recall us even having a bid accepted for him when he was at Lyon..Like I said I may still be mistaken
Peter Kenyon + Abramovich use money as their manipulation material. Yes, United turned him down twice due to his small size, but that was just according to him. That would not make any sense as Scholes is small too. I quiet remember SAF say something about him after he signed for United and it was not because of his size that we snubbed him.
