But but they said Bebe too isnt worth 7m unsure.gif
They are the bestest fans, sure they know how to scout players. I iz trust them yo.

Impossible, SAF said the market is crazy now, no value. So for him to allow the club to fork 7 million quid for him means he has great value or even under valued! biggrin.gif

Pacheco...kalah to Northampton ada la, golden boat for him also doesnt matter tongue.gif

really 37? he doesnt look that old...

but anyway.... to me PIG can never be our 1st GK... at least not in another 5 years...

and i rate cudicini a bit lower to cech.... but certainly way higher than PIG....
*
why at least not in another 5 years?

that sounds weird..I mean why do you think he need at least 5 years to become 1st choice?

PIG already in club for like 3-4 years, not enough experience meh? Furthermore he was 1st choice at West Brom last time(I only started to knew him when West Brom beat I think Arsenal that time biggrin.gif) And you do know that Cudicini is 2nd choice at Spurs right?

not experienced enough to be 1st team...

yeah he's 2nd choice... but when he do play.. his experience is well put in use...
*
that's what I don't get..If you put him as backup for another 5 years how much starting experience do you think he will get? How much is the "experience" he will need to become a regular starter? I assume your first team means starter coz he is already in the first team since he join..

Added on November 3, 2010, 10:07 pmPlease don't forget that if Tomasz stayed at West Brom that time he would have been snapped up by another major club..Just because he joined us as backup to VDS doesn't mean he is only a backup keeper standard..How many times has he failed to perform for us? I cant think of any apart from one or two blunders.

so maybe he will never be our 1st GK... permanent sidekick...

and Cudicini can join us straight away become 1st choice although he is backup to Gomes rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif

not arguing, just don't get your perspective/bias towards PIG

I believe the reason he is not complaining now because he knows VDS is about to retire, then he will get his chance..When Foster was 2nd choice last year, he did make some noise..

I think Valencia is still considered a crossing type of player, in other words old fashioned winger they say. And I think wingers now evolved to cutting inside because attacking full backs like the Evras and Coles cover the wings more, allowing wingers to cut inside and join the forwards on attack

Probably yes, but it's not the point. I don't know why you defend him so much but for me really doesn't have the first choice quality (i can't believe i said the otherwise few years ago). For example, like you've said, he did some blunders last time, imagine if he gets to play the same amount of games as VDS, how many blunder-games ratio will it be  sweat.gif he is also erratic. A GK should not be erratic. We had some bad experience with erratic GK.

He's a good guy, friendly and also a good back up.

Added on November 3, 2010, 11:58 pmYeah, i guess i missed that statement of his.
*
I defend him because he has done nothing to deserve this "he's not good enough to become a starter" thingy from the fans. He is a backup keeper now, and he did his job well when called, especially when VDS was injured last season he had his run of (10?)games and he didnt disappoint any fans at all, yet some fans still doesn't feel secure with him. Look at Fabianski now, Wenger sticked to him eventhough Arsenal fans were calling for his head at the end of last season, and now he is at the end of praises from pundits.. Yes PIG did made a few blunders, all keepers has. But you can't make a blunder-games ratio like that, it is extremely flawed. My main point is just that it's premature thinking he is not good enough to become #1 when he hasn't have the chance to have a full(or at least half) season to himself to prove he can be our #1.

When he gets a consistent run of games as #1, it's natural he will build up more confidence, then only his real potential will show..After that only we evaluate him then it's only fair to justify..That's my POV

If Tomasz becomes #1, Amos will automatically become #2..If I am Amos I would be delighted to be #2 now given that I am only 20 years old and is playing for the biggest club in England..

i just wanna talk about Tottenham a bit here. OT a bit.

I feel that Tottenham have, you can say, a complete midfield.

VDV, Modric, Bale and Lennon terrorizing on left and right, with backups like Huddlestone, Palacios and Kranjcar. It's just scary to think what Redknapp can do with those players in midfield.

ohmy.gif
*
with Modric and Vdv both starting in the central area, the backline will be exposed...so it's not that complete...unless got some1 like Palacios with them la, but good old Arry now doesnt seem to favour Palacious that much...Kranjcar pula, rotting already

Scholes is almost certain to start regardless of the derby and the yellow card, I think he may get 60 minutes like that, hopefully we are already 2 or 3 up then he will be substituted...

If the words of Evra wanting to leave for Madrid is true, I'm pretty sure that's why he didn't get the captain armband doh.gif

Was he ever offered the role of captaincy? After the incident with France I doubt anyone would want to give him the captain role anymore tongue.gif
