Hi fellow home owners... I require your expertise and experience to help me out.

I recently purchased my own condo unit and I've just moved in. 'm thinking of installing sliding windows at my yard / wet kitchen area to solve a few issues at the same time:

1. keeps the rain out. currently, it does get wet when it rains heavily, which is not good since that's where i hang my clothes
2. keep the smoke and smell out since i've installed a hood and the exhaust pipes through that area
3. allows me to still slide open the windows to allow air flow when i wanna dry clothes.

if you guys have contacts for contractors who can do this with good workmanship and reasonable price, please let me know? so far, i've only managed to get this random contractor to quote and he's quoting me RM800.

thanks for your help in advance! =)

please do... just wanna find out a bit more information:

your window, was it tempered glass material or just normal glass?
was it tinted type or just normal?
what was the thickness of the glass used?
was the guy's workmanship good?

i'll be waiting for your information. Thanks!

contact person: mr khoo 0122131799
u can see the window spec at HOuz Depot Kota Damansara.
Got some samples for you to examine...both casket and sliding type...
If you buy through Houz Depot, the price will be slightly higher...
so cut the middleman, deal directly with supplier...cheaper...

my rm18 sqft casket window is normal aluminum frame with no tinted.. tempered glass... good for sunlight and drying wet clothes... black one tend to deflect heat and less sunlight... i'd give it an A for workmanship quality.. evrything is perfect...they charge same price although i asked for twin window (smaller ones on top so I can keep it open all the time).. other supplier charge me a bit more for this cos they say need to use extra aluminium for frame and handle bla bla bla....

i got in touch with the contact you provided to me, who passed me on to another dude... price was only cheaper by RM50. they came and did the work last monday, but the workmanship wasn't that good to be honest.. was quite disappointed... but that's nothing to do with you.

just wanted to thank you again for providing me a contact.. =)
