well, something that i dont have experience with so i wanna ask here...

im thinking of renovating my house, downstairs, currently my living room is marbled & after 15 years, i felt more & more part is getting empty, how i know it?
by stepping & listening to the sound of the marble, so i decide to change my whole living room to tiles, i wanted to break all the doors & windows & redesign it.

the prob is, if i keep staying in my house (upstairs), there will be A LOT of dust everytime i go downstairs, im also afraid of thieves, they might come in coz my
front part is demolished, but if i shift temporary, i have to take ALL my furnitures, bed, PC, TV, fridge to another house

i've no solution, can someone help me here?

We did our home renovation works earlier this year, including changing the layout of our living room which involved breaking and hacking walls and also changing the tiles of the whole house. Ours is a single storey, and after going through the dust, noise and everything; we feel that if we were to carry out a renovation of a similar scale, we would definitely rent outside.

The whole renovation period was about 1.5 months, and it is really a hassle especially when they were laying tiles.

Actually there is no solution, is just the best way is, you move out and bring all valuable with you, because that is the best way to reduce lot of problem between you and your contractor, and also you can let them have more flexible to do thier work so that they can pass back the house to you faster compare if you stay there.
