agree on DO NOT always deplete your battery... keep it charged all the time... the battery capasity will DECREASE if u ever depleted it... i've seen this with laptop battery but not sure about hp battery as the laptop battery have internal circuitry within the battery that RECORDED the overall charge inside the battery and this value will decrease (from calibrated value) if ever the battery been fully depleted...

what the different between digi RM58 unlimited and RM68 unlimited internet plan ah?? mind to explain a bit kah??

ohhhh... thanks, no wonder the sales person never mention on the RM58 during my enquiry... but FYI the RM68 plan if u use CC to pay monthly it will have extra RM5 discount... so it's RM63 per month...

but hor but hor... i can't really appreciate the maxis 3g leh... seem the speed still not as i suspected...
and then 1 dumb question, do we need to set the phone to 3g/3.5g mode to get the max out of the broadband?? i always on power saver mode currently and it only connect through gsm, will this affect the internet speed?? as till now i'm still wondering why we need to connect using 3g/3.5g other then video call??

ohhhhhhhhhh..... so from what i experience i can get GPRS & EGPRS all these time...
ok ok... i will try dig deeper into those later... mean when we tethering it would be great using the 3g/3.5g to get the full internet speed...

then hor... won't it be better we set the mode to dual mode in N8 so no need changing here and there?? (of coz not in power saver mode lah as it's predefine fixed setting)... not sure how smart N8 handling dual mode as my previous 5800xm quite dumb as it prefer more to connect through 3g network and when we travelling around the network mode keep switching and MOST of the time causing the phone "hang in term of connection" where can't receiving incoming call or msg... then sometime it hang with the network connection "zero signal strength" although we know the network signal is strong...

i'm disabling the power saver mode now and set to dual mode... let see how it perform later...

anyone trying NOT to reboot their N8 for VERY long time?? i'm still not testing on that and from what i've observed the RAM will getting lower and lower if u let the browser keep on for pro-long period also the sosial apps running at background....

wonder can i cut off my stupid screamyx or not and use digi tethering at home VERY slow internet lately (more then a month) feel very annoy liao paying rm88 1mbps plan but with dumb stupid speed...

from ebay... seller from UK i think i've post the link previously... maybe u just run through the ebay and search for N8 leather flip it will come out... cost total included delivery ~RM34... it make my N8 look slimmer compare with the leather case i got from local...

mana ada SOLVE?? it's solve now because i'm on dataplan now remember?? hehehe... as when the phone able to connect to the net it will stay there and behave... but if u dont have dataplan then the nasty connection bug will out again try to connect every SINGLE minute and flooded the logs...

they say so because they NEVER experience it... for some forumer who asking "why my call log missing??" ahhh those are the affected ppl...

the 1440 is not the logs limit... what i mention previously in 24 hours flood u will get 1440 input within the logs because the connection bug is triggering every single minute whenever it lost connection... not sure what the limit of the logs list but for sure u will lost your call logs in a few days...

hahahaha... now seem talking about casing cooling effect eh?? use water cooling loh....

u WONT get it as it need totally DARK room to see the effect... I've include at FP the color cards to make this "defect" to surface but it's IMPOSIBLE to capture it through camera as it's too dark to get any photo out of it....

i think the whole batch is affected and the dark patch seem like the limitation of the OLED switch off threshole...
