Just having a good attitude is good enough for ur respective team.

I got a tattoo and helped start MyRAWK along with the likes of JonC, Jonno, Monstar, Teeque, Zypher, TheAlbertus, etc. We shell out money from our own pockets to host large viewings, print banners and purchase merchandise. We have our own website (http://my-rawk.com/). We have also met with various sponsors to obtain door gifts and prizes for games played during match viewings. We've also printed and sold our own t-shirts, amongst other things. We've stretched ourselves albeit to a small extent to Penang and Malacca but there is only so much you can do with no funding. We hope to find Liverpool fans with similar or more passion and have been fortunate enough to find a healthy number of them, from this forum and elsewhere. See you lads at the next viewing.

Let's not condemn them and share what you did in real life? Not those EPL fanboys who only watching live games on tv and then self proclaim this n that.
During my school days i actually took bus to the stadium on a normal afternoon(not far away from home) to watch my favourite team training.I mean i was excited to even see my favourite team players doing the work out and sometime you catch some friendly games. That was 10 over years ago.Now think back those are really passionate moments of a football fans.Maybe nowadays people rather stay at home to online.. QUOTE(feekle @ Oct 28 2010, 01:05 PM) In my experience, ManU & Liverpool fans usually the ones with a very very very "HARD" head..absolutely no sportsmanship.. Sadly, I believe that every club has it's bad apples. You are right though. I sometimes find myself having arguments with Liverpool fans more than I do with other fans. I'm glad that I've mostly come across some really classy Liverpool fans. In 2007 we organised a viewing for the Champions League final in Athens and we had about 300 people turn up. Even though we had lost, the fans stayed back to applaud the AC Milan players as they went up to receive their medals, and also to cheer or boys on for a respectable performance. Moments later, this Kancil pulled up next to the entrance and there were about 4 Liverpool fans inside waving scarves and flags. The windows came down and we all sang YNWA and ended the night disappointed, but proud. In contrast I once attended a large viewing of the FA Cup final where 2 of our rivals were playing. When the game ended, everyone left immediately, and only a handful stayed back to see their teams receive their respective medals. Passion? Hmm I don't think so. I don't know what your definition of "hard head" is but I don't think it's related to sportsmanship. If a person is passionate about his team, he will obviously be a little biased but it doesn't mean he won't congratulate his rival for a game well played. It's very simple. Most of the time, classy acts are reciprocated, as are non-classy ones. This post has been edited by Duke Red: Oct 28 2010, 01:24 PM |

i think this thread is like asking, from a religion point of view, "how holy are you". Anyone can say they are holy. then some idiot will come out ridiculing other's behaviour, while some will say others too extreme, then point to terrorism etc which does not reflect the general feeling of the different groups. stupid generalization and stereotyping will come out, and this "good natured, no hard feeling" thread will turn into a flaming thread.
my passion is for me to know and people around me to find out via my action and thoughts, no need for me to come here and say "this and that is more passionate than this and that". This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Oct 28 2010, 01:30 PM |

Well passion does sometimes spill over. At the very least, you guys are somewhat organised. I've visited your fansites e.g. kelate.net or the redwarriors site and there is a lot of activity. Planning to organise bus loads of fans can't be easy. I've also spoken to people from KAFA and I must say that Kelantan football is going places, thanks to their vision.Indeed. |

For me, the way I show my passion towards football is not only by supporting a football club but also by PLAYING football. Many people talk football, watch football matches, and wear football jerseys but how many of us actually play football? I created a team that consist of people that don't actually play football (some of them hate it) and end up now playing football everyday, watch and analyze football matches together, and also organizing a competitive friendly matches every now and then. The same group will also play futsal on Monday and Friday night which I organize week in week out. We tested out each method we learn from the football we watch every week. Maybe it didn't look as perfect as the professionals, but hey, at least we tried We are not the greatest team in our place, but every week, be it in Football or Futsal, we are trying to improve and enjoy our game and that's for me it's the real passion towards football. Again, it's just from my POV and never meant to show that I'm "holier than anybody". This post has been edited by gto87: Oct 28 2010, 02:06 PM |

I guess you need to have a "beandy seal of approval" to be deemed a passionate supporter. Those who don't meet his criteria is low class. There's a reason I don't share my passion HERE
@gto87, it's not wrong to share. But the fact is there's someone who is making the "judgement" here, who is passionate, who is not, who is more passionate, who's the idiot. if u share and TS thinks it's good, then passionate u are. Does it work that way? That's why I say I rather be judged on my passion based on my actions and thoughts, or proper posts in the MU thread, as well as joining constructive discussions in rival threads. I have no doubt those who shared here is passionate, but I don't have to have TS to decide who is and who is not. And also the generalization that is so obviously based on TS' view, which is ironic because if u are trully passionate to football, u won't look down at other fans or the so called "that group". Understood. I just want to share. Actually, I want more people to share and I like their stories so far except for the bashing. So as long as we keep the thread clean, it's ok already.
You can talk about it in MU thread but it's only between MU fans or maybe some rivals that visit your thread. Here, it's more general, so I rather we share it here. Just ignore the person you don't like. QUOTE(gry @ Oct 28 2010, 12:23 PM) I went to all stadium home and away to watch Kelantan in Malaysia Super League this season. I also still support Kelantan even though they play in tertier league in Malaysia, FAM Cup. As for me, I'm a Kedah fan, and I'm not actually sad that our team loss the other day. Believe me or not, I'm happy to see a good team like Kelantan can progress, and they're actually the one who deserves to win any cups in Malaysia for time being. It's a matter of perspective in terms of blaming. Most of other fans will always blame Kelantan fans for acting like a bunch of idiots, but that's partly because they have less experience going to the rivals stadium. Every team has at least one fan acting like that, we can't really change it. So just go with the flow dude. Also, enjoy this moment. People will forgot this version of Kelantan soon. Keep all the youtube clips to show that Kelantan did play beautifully once. For me, most of the Malaysians don't know how to appreciate football and changes that a team brought to the field. Take Kedah in the era of Double treble, how many appreciated their gameplay? How many of Malaysian analyze and tried it? Rather than doing that, FAM went on to ruin the Malaysian football by shifting off all the foreign players. We're back to square one. I'm not being biased or obsessed but that Kedah team was the best team that Malaysia ever produced and Azrai Khor tried more than 4 formations during his tenure in Kedah and succeeded. But nobody remembers. Nobody talks about that not even the pundits. No offense but they talk more about Selangor than any other Football clubs. I don't understand why... So like I said before, enjoy this moments, keep all the highlights and support your team all out because like it or not, it will change. This post has been edited by gto87: Oct 28 2010, 02:51 PM |

I did not know that there is a club which permits only the high class supporter???
And we happened to know each other more because we probably have something in common. When we have something in common it means we like it and care to share something out of it. I don't go laughing at a beggar with arsenal cap on him, i will not even do that at my rival fans because its football that we love and each of us have our own preferences which is what your thread is talking about. PASSION about football. Why are you classifying everyone now? Because you're a thread starter? Nope, being a social philosopher grants you the right to write theories about it but being a thread starter, its good if you stop doing that so others can pay you respect when visiting your thread. Generally, standing at a neutral point, if you assumed me as someone who don't know football. You make yourself look like creating a thread just to lead yourself a majority of individuals here to bash against a certain group of people and i can see a particular club is highly associated with the latter. |

What I find extremely funny. TS creates thread with points emphasizing MU fans don't watch football, Liv fans are hard heads, and Arsenal fans don't understand football.
So what, Spurs fans like you must be saintly while the rest are low class and idiotic? Hater's gonna hate obviously. |

Low class has nothing to do with beggar or rich family..is from attitude.
Juz like you bunch im spot on.There is no intention whatsoever to come here to share your passion or objective of this thread.Untill now you guys try to defend the phrase i said 'arsenal self proclaim fans dont understand much of football..BUTTHurt? lol Now from wat i see you guys are worse than that cos u dont understand the thread objective and more interested in provoking this statement of mine.lol Lets now hear from more Assanal fans.We are welcome to see whether u are in here to reply to the thread (u will get respect) or provoke more arguments. From there it explain what class you are so No need me to say it.And so far all the respond from this club fan are disappointing.tsk tsk ..Clearly and absolute low class...as usual This post has been edited by beandy: Oct 28 2010, 04:03 PM |

It isn't a competition as some have said so what's wrong with sharing instead of going on the defensive? It could be that you stay up until 5am to watch all European games. It could be that you collect newspapers clippings, something I did when I followed Selangor years ago. It could be that you only buy original merchandise. It could be that you buy books on your club. If you don't do anything, then it simply means you aren't all that passionate but what's wrong with that if it's true?

Dude first of all take some English lessons. Didn't bring up any material wealth into the discussion in the first place. Passion and objectives for football? The way I see it, Arsenal fans here support Arsenal no matter what. United fans here loyal to their team. Liverpool fans likewise. Simply cause you took a bus to watch your team train 10 years ago don't mean shit. Some fans here haven't missed a single game of their team for 10 years as well. Live or delayed.
Somehow I don't see you talking much in the Spurs thread, rather stirring up shit in rival clubs threads? So your passion for your club is to bash other supporters over here? AWESSSSSSOMMMEEE. This is a forum. When you open a thread, people may post their opinions in it. But nobody is forcing their OPINION on anyboy except you. So back to your points, other clubs supporters are rubbish and you're the great one? Oh, and don't bother replying if you can't come up with something intelligent or even on topic. |

Well, let me put it this way. TS has a history that made this very topic ironic for him to create. Without explaining the full extent of things, I hope that explains the negative treatments.
However, it is a valid topic. So, I'll let you people carry on with the discussion created by this ex-gooner. |

QUOTE(taingonghai @ Oct 28 2010, 03:51 PM) What I find extremely funny. TS creates thread with points emphasizing MU fans don't watch football, Liv fans are hard heads, and Arsenal fans don't understand football. I lol. So what, Spurs fans like you must be saintly while the rest are low class and idiotic? Hater's gonna hate obviously. I think the purpose of this Thread, Spurs fans are the best of the World. |

i used to 'fly' (i believe we all know this term) from my matriculation college at Penang to go back to Kedah whenever Kedah had a match at Darulaman Stadium back in the days. and back in the days of Division 1 and Division 2, it is once every 2 weeks. this go way back 10 years ago IIRC, and i keep doing it until I got caught that is..hahaha. Kedah was playing in Division 2 at that time and i could never forget those matches that we had against now-already-non-existent team like KL Malay Mail and some-still existing team like ATM
then when i did my degree in Selangor, i never fail to attend all but 1 Kedah matches that played in the central area. and whenever i went back to Alor Star and there was any Kedah match, i will surely arrange for my bus trip to be after the match finished i am passionate about my team, be it Kedah or Arsenal. but sometimes people just can't really show it due to various obstacles. like now that i am a family man and due to working commitment i can only go to the Kedah match that took place during weekend, no more mid-week game for me at the stadium but the topic title actually is how passionate are you towards football. i'm not sure whether it's the same to how passionate are you towards your team(s). looks like what we've all been sharing are how passionate we are towards our team for me This post has been edited by toshio14: Oct 28 2010, 04:13 PM |

guys...stop the idea of representing beandy to spurs. This should not be a thread which raised a war between the spurs and gunners. Let him talk whatever negative submission he got about arsenal but talk none about spurs.

QUOTE(beandy @ Oct 28 2010, 04:08 PM) Haha im not that deluded like assanal fans thinking they are the best team in this world but won shit at all for last half decade! I guess you like to put Spurs fans here in LowYat in a tight spot. That's the passion that you're talking about? Whether they've won or lost, the fans have stood behind their back. So when Spurs lose, you're gonna curse your own club? Or when Milan doesn't win you go out and buy an Inter jersey? Now I see the point of your passion. Your passion is to jump ship to current winning team.Name calling, bashing other clubs yet u can barely tell of any glory of the club u patronise. Definitely "high class"! And don't go there about trophies. You're shooting yourself in the foot badly. Thanking toshio for a classy post, yet as TS u've barely made one classy post urself. Keep this discussion on a serious note, and I'll keep it open. If anyone starts a flame war, I'll close this thread immediately.
This applies to everyone, including the TS. |

Well done. You have announced yourself to the whole of Football Lounge, Beandy.
Please know that you have always had valid points in your arguments. But how you go about discussing it have always resulted in what happened in this very thread. |

I'd always believe threads like this can only be open by veteran footballer fans for it to work. People will only give their opinions, submissions, points, arguments into the thread so it can be noticed by the thread starter and other forumers. We've seen successful threads like that but it will well developed when the thread starter has respected others even they are from the bottom of the league or the fact and statistics said they are. Why express it if it is sensitive?
Duke Red had disagreed to some of his team's fans before and many other fans moot on a certain topic before but I don't see them saying others as Low class, idiots and nuts. SO Ts, stop saying a word or contribute only positive comments only whether you like it or not in order for this thread to go on since its initially approved by the mod. you can choose not to like another club's fans if you think they are awful but you will find not expressing it out loud and clear in a public thread will be helpful. the problem is TS should never created this thread since most of people here lost respect for him long time ago (at least in this Football Lounge but he still respectable at other threads). If you guys don't know beandy true colour, just ask the folks at Arsenal thread. They all have history with him.

I have had some experiences with this kind of poster. Idiot people never stop doing what they think are superior compared to others and they doing this for fun. And yeah i'm calling him idiot because i am one of those 'low class' people you have mentioned. And you can call me idiot too because i take idiot people like you seriously. Didn't even know how much higher class TS wants us to be. Because i noticed most of his posts, he mentioned about class etc. That is the only thing he can come up with, he didn't even know what he is talking about. Obsession about class huh?
