If noisy, I rather get D tongue.gif
Confirm 2mm

Thx for the confirm, do u know the difference btw sending for Nikon to calibrate and I calibrate myself under the menu of AF Fine Tune?? I got no time to send it over today, and they asked me to try doing it myself 1st doh.gif

Added on November 15, 2010, 7:36 pmHAhaa.... I think if wanna use the autofocus function for video, better to buy a external mic, the jack can use cheapo mic? Or how much is nikon dedicated mic? Previously I manual focus in D5000 video acceptable in noisy places, but now using autofocus, the motor sound is really annoying

ohh ic , thanks you i got it =)

AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G  good in taking portrait or not ? i mean if compare to 18-55 , sorry i am newbie here . Sorry if i asking the not professional question.

thanks your help anyway =)

What I can say is, if u travel around and likes to take landscapes, or even portraits that u wanna include the background, u must have a wide angle lens, I seldom use 35mm to travel, coz I need to fit a lot of landscapes/backgrounds into the frame, to make it simple, the lesser the mm, the more you can capture into the frame!

thanks you kent , can you recommend the len to me ?

Sorry i dont know much about the len , still learning . Hope you can guide me .

I love to take portrait , my fren , my family or stranger . especially play with eye contact .
Ohh okay .

Because i going to buy my first DSLR nikon d3100 , so i just dunnoe whether should i buy 35mm len or not , because i only can afford that len which is around rm 800
*
Get the kit lens, then get a used 35mm F1.8G @ around 650-700, this is a very good lens, the 50mm might be too narrow for ur liking, wait until u comfortable with primes 1st den u get narrow primes. Juz my 2cents

Some time no space to move backward and the effect looks different for UWA. Guess you never really play before with it.
*
Nope.... never played with one, I like to take landscape, but my current aim is to get the tamron 17-50 to replace my kit lens for wide angle and std zoom. I rmb last time u said the one without motor n VC is the sharpest, where u get this info frm? Coz frm the comparison I see, the built in motor version is sharper than the VC.

I wonder the focusing speed using the D7000 body motor drive vs the built in screw drive motor version.
