hi, im extreamly new in this. After a few google, notice the Nikon D5000 and Canon 550 are 2 well recommended for me. So I want to check those in Penang & KL, what is the best price you got in Penang & KL for the Nikon D5000. Thanks for your help. smile.gif

Beginner I highly recommend D3100 although I still don't own a DSLR LOL... Becase as a teen I o9 whole day read damn many camera reviews lol...

I just read that D3100 does not have AEB mode. How to take HDR photos without AEB? Can I adjust the exposure manually after each shot to get 3 differently exposed photos then edit them to become HDR? Is there any other way with the D3100?
*
there are photoshop... you can do it just as Vampyr3 says.. although i havent tried HDR lol

1 thing I felt not so good about the D3100 is the screen.  cry.gif  230k dots compared to 920k dots  cry.gif

Dear All,

Would the D3100 be enough for a beginner or should I go for the D5000 ?
*
More than enough! Personally.. i think D3100 > D5000 smile.gif

Ditto, in terms of image output I'm sure the D3100 would beat the D5000.
