I certainly hope the design wont be similar to iPhone 3GS again....

My friend using HTC Hero back then.. Unfortunately, he sold it already.. The phone really awesome when it first came out! With unique body built and material used.. No wonder that it won Smartphone of The Year 2009!!

Exactly! The DHD has such a nice big screen, but doesn't look as good as the SGS's Super AMOLED. Anyway everybody knows that HTC is choosing SLCD not because SLCD is superior, but because Samsung is restricting the supply of AMOLED screens.

If I was Google, I'd build my own factories and produce a phone
- With the aluminum unibody of Legend
- Shape of iPhone 4
- Super AMOLED screen
- Stock Gingerbread

But recently got rumour of HTC Mecha that may use Hero's build form but with better specs.

google choose samsung coz of their awesome hardware ? why not asking htc to develop software for them, HTC + GOOGLE + SAMSUNG = winner

Then, have to wait till 2011 to produce it because of Super AMOLED then..
Shape of iPhone4 only OK? Not body build of it because of percentage iPhone4 owners claimed their phone is higher than 3gs owner to warranty.. Why? Cracked body..

Haha yeah, just the shape. Nice and simple. But don't use glass, use the aluminium build of Legend.

But I much prefer the glass on iPhone 4 to the super-fingerprint magnet on the 3GS and iPod Touch. I think most 3GS/Touch owners get a casing is because of the fingerprint issue. Can't be to make it look better, because bumpers make iPhones look ridiculous.

Great idea there! Software from HTC, Android OS and Samsung hardware.. But, Samsung wanna conquer their own brand I think.. That's what happened with SGS..

HTC can develop what software? HTC Sense inside google experience or AOSP phone?
then might as well go for DHD or ask HTC to build it

i like the concept of N1 especially the vanilla android but if they get a high end hardware from Samsung then it will be best on the both sides lol

the thing that likely missing is notification led,trackball,solid build and no physical button if it is made by Samsung

just my 2 cents

If they don't wear bumper, they will lost call a lot more than other devices!

Does it mean HTC Mecha will has chin like Hero?

why still put SuperAMOLED... should go for Super Clear LCD...

is a trade off..u want thin and light then use the plastic


super amoled is better in brightness and color IMO..
and i would go for super amoled than super clear lcd

aiyo.. I think you are the one that use your phone in your room rather than outside, right? people who choose to go for Super AMOLED is the one who care about screen appearance quality..

I prefer Super Clear LCD any time... much more accurate in term of colour reproduction

But, plastic build attract more fingerprint to it than aluminium one.. (don't talk about HQ glass on iPhone4..)

Yes, much more accurate anytime.. But a little bit weak in contrast compare to Super AMOLED.. Viewing angle is lesser too..

maybe u misunderstand the S-LCD wt the Super Clear LCD.... Super Clear LCD is a superior version of the S-LCD u see in market now...

but watching movie with Super AMOLED is gorgeous

then hope for carbon fibre built
