Hi all,

Looking for a 2.1 system for living room, for music & movie so. Price around RM300. what's your suggestion? I'm quite confident to Edifier product, so probably C3 (it might price more than 300). What do you think? Any better choice for that price?

I don't think you're able to get a Edifier C3 for around RM300. C3 cost about RM400 plus plus. If you're more into movie, then get the Edifier R501 for surround. If you're a balance of both, then get C3 or either Edifier S330D. These model cost around RM400.

I rather you top up to RM700 and get yourself a Edifier S530D and you have yourself a remote control.

s530d is a good one for 2.1

Yes, if you want remote and for movies and nice music... get S530D. I have tested myself.

IMO, I hope you need not spend something so little and then u buy again - get once for all. Go and try out.. hehe

You won't regret spending a bit more for S530D but you will if you go for C3.

Edifier C3 is good but not good enough if you're looking for some oomph when watching movie. Just top up to RM700 and get yourself a Edifier S530D and that can last you for the next 5 years. I rather you spent one shot on one particular model instead of buying yourself another model when C3 can no longer perform to your expectation in the future.

Nvm then, he already cant wait to save moar. He can use the C3 first.

I'm suggesting to TS based on available Edifier model since TS did specifically mentioned in his first post that he is confident with Edifer. In the end, TS will be the one deciding.

530..seems really high recommendation woh.. But I do not need a surround woh.. 2.1 is more than enough!! So, shall I go for C3? Or any other option with that budget?!

My suggestion is go and bring your music and movies to test at the shop... then you can choose better. Diff people has diff sound preference.

Yeah go listen all the suggested models. Once u listened to S530D u will not ever want to listen to C3 again haha

Just drop by at Lowyat and compare Edifier C3 and S530D. You'll be amazed with the results.
