this is for lite user broadband, and for rich people plan too!!

if you use 3gb per month, this is most cheapest rate, also same rate with other telco.

For rich people, you can enjoy high speed without worry the bill, at kepong i tested get top speed 12mbs per second, average is 5mbps to 6mbps.

so 1,2 , 3 GB how much per month?
*
1GB = rm30(rm0.029/MB)
2GB = rm60(rm0.029/MB)
2.5GB = rm75(rm0.029/MB) >> after rebate rm66(rm0.026/MB) - rebate rm9 or 12%
3GB = rm90(rm0.029/MB) >> after rebate rm 67(rm0.022/MB) - rebate rm23 or 25.5%
4GB = rm120(rm0.029/MB) >> after rebate rm 84(rm0.021/MB) - rebate rm36 or 30%

for me it is on par with other providers.
comparison to digi, you paid almost the same price for 3GB.
after reach 3GB, your speed will be reduced to 128kbps
what can you do and how many GB can u use until the bill recycled with that speed?
trust me when digi throttled the speed to 128kbps, you wish you can pay extra to enjoy normal speed.
you can only browse mobile optimized websites with the speed.  laugh.gif

furthermore with digi, you'd never enjoy speed more than 2mbps, when everything's working fine average speed for digi is around 1mbps only.

i'm not saying YES service is tip top at the moment, i don't think their network is stable yet.
sometimes it's fast and sometimes not so fast(but still more than 1mbps) regardless of signal strength.
so far i use YES at 3 different locations with different signal strength and the fastest i could get is 3mbps++, but it never dip below 1mbps.

agree, speed is not stable sometimes, at my house i got full bar(5bar), is it 5bar max? sometimes can speed up to 10mbps, but sometimes can drop to 1mbps++...

Believe that's a spike. You should try to run an FTP to see the throughput consistency.

yes, ftp connection is good, but most of the usage is for browsing web, seldom use ftp. if only ftp is fast, then browsing is slow, what for?

No, I mean in order to acquire the achievable speed, you should use FTP to measure but not on Speedtest.net because the result might not be accurate.

If browsing is slow then haha .. nothing to say.
*
ya, i not believe all in speedtest, it just indication between your pc and that server only...

really? what is your location? my location kepong near metro prima, got full bar, rssi signal have 70, download speed can up to 12mbs+.

it is far more better than 3g alot, last time i use maxis 3g, can hit up to max 3mbps+, now ytl can up to 12mbps, almost 4 times the speed...

i also try celcom 3g b4, only record top speed 380kpbs++

but the price for the 4g is expensive, so i seldom use...hehe
